The portrait drawing is the entry test (on the spot) biggrin.gif It's alright senior!

Those 'pencil drawing, color, random ,etc' you're mentioning are the required portfolio for admission icon_idea.gif .

@inachi,
Yep, OH- meant that.

@OH-,
Ok, you are confident with your English. For the drawing part, you don't have to worry about the time. You can take as long as you want, as long as you finish it( of course you wouldn't want to spend your whole day there doing it). I finished mine within 4 hours. Funny thing was that there was this clerk in charge who joked with us about the time limit and that there will be deductions in marks/points, kinda spooked us at first.   blush.gif

Accreditations on their courses are obviously confirmed, who else would even go if they are not genuinely certified?
Here's the link MQA (TOA courses)

Okay then that's good if I can take my time biggrin.gif
Also, how bout the drawing equiptment? Pencils, erasers, blending tools etc2? We bring in our own ones?

Thanks for the info on the MQA! biggrin.gif
I'm kinda eager for this, just waiting for my SPM results biggrin.gif

Ahh one more question, about the 3rd requirement for the portfolio, can I create a video composition comprising of my artworks including drawings, graphic designs and 3D renders? What medium should I use? CD/DVD?

And make sure you do work up your English, especially the conversational ones. Majority of the questions involves situational and anecdotal elements (like how you're talking or responding to a person), it's not easy if you're blunt at that. It's not like writing an essay.

if you guys or girls want to join TOA, do expect pressure from your course. for the 1st 2 years course, you will definitely have 6 figure sketching to submit for every week, expect more during holidays. 3rd year depends on your course; except MM, other major will still need to submit figure sketching every week.

other than that course, assignment aren't that difficult. Majority are project based instead of exam.

If you are interested in design/ multimedia/ advertising/ animation/ interior design, financial able to support... do feel free to join. although you aren't that skillful in drawing & creativity, those can be train with practice and lecturer guidance. You definitely have a hard time during your 3 years course, but it is worth if you really put in effort and determination as they will train you the same standard as a professional, just you cert is advanced diploma only. Skill wise anytime you can be better than other designer in the industry.
