warranty given by insurance company? not by proton???
anyway.... all new persona by default it is 5 years warranty right or need to apply for the warranty?
what is the extended warranty? any body can clear about warranty things.... bit unclear...

I'm still waiting my car....but I heard from SA....

the warranty from Proton is 2yrs or 50,000km...which ever come first!

another 3yrs or 75,00km...which ever come first!

quite good....was thinking modify my persona. then the warranty just stop me...hahaha

i think its an auto upgrade of warranty period
i think can call the insurance company or u wait another few days..
the letter should be around this few weeks...if not yet receive i think better call up..hehe

well guys i have been driving this car for 5 months and it's still great!
one sad thing that happened to me today is the cd player went crazy.. it hanged there with the display and all the lights on, even when i switch off the car and pull the car key out, it is still the same... since this afternoon.. i tried to remove the car battery so it can die off, but not able to remove the battery cable! the spanner size 10 cannot fit? really made my day bad.. hope a little cd player will not exhaust my battery..
well just want to share this out... sigh...

guys, to stick with the warranty, u guys should always service ur car at SC eventho ur free service period is over..

once u service ur car outside, ur warranty will b void, as most ppl say..

mine persona is Iafm H-line Auto Blueberry tea...no mod yet....plannig to change R3 set bodykit and rim 1st.
i must state here... Rm 98-100 around 37L of petrol can go for 480km is impresive. around 0.21sen per KM.
mine is auto...imagine if its manual...

my car just 3 months...last week when im in johor...my car radio jammed....the screen hang and even i switch off the car still remain "on"(radio). so i plug off the car battery and reset it....i donno whether it will affect my car if i plug out battery like that. anyone knows?

thats what i heard. but i think i going to service in dealer SC. the service is good atleast. if outside..they charge like shit and sometimes they also repair shit...cos they donno the major prob with our car...so i prefer SC.

Strange ...like to know more. Please update the outcome. Suspect cabling problem that connect to the ignition key under ACCessories. get it rectified.

Just to annouce..none National Cars (Honda/Toyota/ Kia etc) will start to enjoy rates at 3.9%.

It will be similar to Proton cars as its scheme is no longer subsidised by jap's principal. At least people will understand why oh why they tot only national Cars always enjoy higher rates. They have forgotten about the subsidised scheme given earlier, just like fuel price back then. -Reported by Ah Long Ltd.

but guys, if ur car is drove by many ppl lets say ur parents, brother, sister, better stick with warranty ler... many hands using it, so better b safe than sorry

i got the same problem..no light at key hole.
also the sit belt light always off although i didn't put on the sit belt.
