I Owned a persona IAFM HL BlueberryTea. My persona just 1 month old.
Hope can join the group.

actually I think im quite an unlucky guy who get one of the most complaint on my persona.
My car came with a "cacated" air ventilizer plastic at my passenger side.(i donno what that thing called as, the one we adjust the air flow of air-con). it cannot turn the plastic inside properly. and my middle ones have "kilik kilik" sound when u open high volume of aircon. like something loose.

Its not yet fixed...since i complaint at my 1st service.

i had compaint my PW before, because it vibrates damn alot. and said it was a wiring prob.solve the prob. but when i try to close the PW, when at the last part, it is going to shut. there will be a plastic "KREK" sound which surprice me. i think something wrong with the door visor and the PW.

They changed my air-con thinggy inside the dash, which making some "ONG" sound.

my behind seat will have "YEk yek" sound when i go through rough road.(u know la KL roads) they say i can DIY by sticking tapes on the metal lock behind the seats.

FC..hmm how should i put this....I get 6.8L/100km and 5.0 at highway(north south) in my meter but i need to pump petrol every 350-380km of mileage. and it cost me around RM65. its uses around 30+L then i need go pump..there is atleast 15L left in the tank. but the meter show 0..... the meter not very reliable.(mayb its a estimation meter)

The car overall is good in both performance and comfort.(in my experience).
Ppl around me always say don go more then 120km/hr after u pass 5k service. but i went 160km/hr stable around 3500-4000 rpm when im 2.5k mileage.The car roars as the air was going to the engine. Iafm system did make quite a "ONG" sound during that period.(air rushing into engine) The car is stable even it is high speed. u wont few it shake or need to grip the steering too tight. its as smooth and stable as 120km/hr. like my dad's nissan cefiro a31. the steering steers alot in high speed. because of it oversteer steering setting.

THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IS I LOVE MY PERSONA.

The LED ring shouldnt be working. because there is no wiring to LED ring. I was told by one of the member in Thepersonaclub.com.

For the brake, 1t time i drive the brake is like not makan...I think its rather not too sensitive then not makan. the brake for persona from my experience u need tekan hard really to get the brake feel. i think its kinda ok once u familiar with it. i compare alot persona with my dad cefiro a31. the cefiro brake very sensitive especially at the middle part when u step on it. that car i drove for 4 years. and i still can brake smoothly ... because the makan point is so immeadiate.... my dad also told me that the brake of my persona like not makan...but for me...the brake just meet my needs.
and I donno ur car condition. if u really worried about it u can bring it to the SC and let them check on it. see how they say to u....if u really want sensitive brake try change the brake pads. this just my opinion.

if u choose Baseline u don have
some as u listed.
-no airbag for both side
-no electric side mirror
-no selt belt pretensioner
-rear seat cannot put down for bigger rear space.
-no audio switch on steering ( adjust tracks and volume)
-no fog lamp
-no sport rim.

actually if u really want to buy persona for mod purpose. B-line is recommended.
if really for family HL is better. because got ABS and EDB.

i must admit.. the interior quality wasnt as good as others. but i like this car more on comfort and performance.
But....i havent find any thing like Jonspark show....touch woood ....don happen.....

17" RIM will burden the engine?
im not very familiar with rims.

how much to mod the ring? if below RM30 can consider la...haha if more not worth liao..cos i familiar with the "place" adi... only for my family members....

what type of rim u prefer?
Mine is Blueberry and i dont think want to put a black spray rim into that...
i might choose a silver or shinning type..make it more class abit..

I heard of Drex from alot of forum adi...heard he also selling alot of things for persona.
Might want to change CCFL for my headlights . will CCFL got wap prob ?i heard from somewhr....

O.O so got wap or not depend on the one who work on it la...
if drex can offer me reasonable price..i might go to see him in june08...

I donno u...but i buy from a dealer...i didnt buy direct from proton. let the person help me rush proton to get my car....2 month to get delivery, atleast i pay wat they accept wat.

i thinking to put CCFL and rear LED ....... donno ok anot put into my blueberry....hmm ...the rear LED like the persona envy .

my downpayment was 6600....minus of bookin fee....6100. i pay 6000+ because i change 2007 persona to 2008 persona. dont want to remake the loan...
u can actually calculate urself by estimation...if persona is 56k...9 years should be 600+-, 7years is 750+-. 5 years is 900+-, the insurance will be 1200++ per year(gets lower every year)...1st year insurance included into 56k(car price)....

i donno anything about others showroom....the showroom i choose....he gave me a fire extinguisher only...(WTF)
when some say got astro...few hundred RM petrol vouchers... I really ....

HLine is auto so u cant expect much in low FC...if u take Mline Manual FC will be lower.... my IAFM HLine give me around 380km/RM 63....my car petrol light blink and meter show 0 milege when i go around 400km max....but petrol only pump RM 65+-... around 35L...but still got 15 L left .... the meter always show 6.8L/100km....but i dont really rely on it...because i saw it with my eyes....i stop at the road side for 15minutes and the "KM left to pump minus 1 km....." the best is u look at the total milege do calculation manually.
its your choose...because persona IAFM is not the best low FC car....but mayb its hav better FC compare to old campros...

This i not sure...because this persona is my 1st car....hehe

For me, i choose what i love the most...
the 1st time i saw the blueberry persona in showroom,
love in 1st sight...nothing else bothers me.

thats the way, don put too much on comparing...of cos sometime we must compare abit la...
but when u got to choose either 1...i think choose the 1 u think is ok, nthg really troubles u and the most importantly is u like it or not...

I love to speed..."JPJ or police don see this" and atleast i pijak pedal it goes faster. 160km/hr n still going..havent try higher yet...4k milege only.

I am telling u now, my persona gave me problem too , but because i love it so much, i want to make it better.

talk about boot...i bought 2 2.5 meter stick....i put into my boot and lower my rear seat.. and can fit without sticking it outside the car...tell u something more interesting ....that day i saw a new evo x ...he bought a box of cabinet(DIY type) he cant even put into his boot...i tell my brother....he buy a 200k car but cant even put things in his boot ....
both of us was laughing...

my auto persona iafm can reach 160km/hr in 4k-4500k....hmm why different?
my engine also noisy + tyre sound and iafm box induction....the sound really hoho

i later check back the car manual to confirm.
.... yesterday i just pump petrol, i only pump RM 68 and 35L
there is another extra 15L, but...my meter show 0.......
i think i need to check back with proton SC....to check back the meters(heard persona got fuel tank meter not accurate)

i wanna ask....my car next service writen on the service book is 6k....but the black oil sticker writen...5k..
so i go at 5k or 6k?

and yesterday i found out...the petrol cover...the outer steel....seems very fragile...like easy to break...
got anyone realize? any solution?

air-master abit expensive but have quality...
