my car went 1k service..my dad brought my blm over.the proton edar service centre say we eventually can provide our own engine oil..nnd specifically use petronas's engine oil..but must follow the suit..er..if not wrong..1k is 15W50 engine oil..i hardly remember..my dad told me that yesterday..

p/s:i ask him to break-in the engine.he say no prob doing so..yeah!

i called the SC b4 but they told me to use wat available in SC which is Syntium 15W50..if using other brand will void the 3X free service..I prefer to bring my own engine oil..maybe can get cheaper than wat SC offer..

they can do break-in for you?? surely I will ask them to do for me also

Guys i did some calculation actually the petrol price hike is not so bad after rebate. I did my calculation based on my trip and the highest fc my car can achieve. I travel back and fort it's 50 km per day, so it's 250km per week and 1000km per month. My car worse fc is 9.6km/litre ,so one week i use rm70.30/26 litre. rm 3374.4 per year minus - rm625 rebate = rm 2749.4/1248litre(1 year usage) = rm 2.20/litre after rm 625 rebate. So actually after rebate is not that bad la.
