QUOTE(Darkmage12 @ May 14 2008, 11:26 PM) May i know if there is any significant difference between B and M line? I know both have Auto right? Thinking of getting 1 but don't know which to choose B-line a lot of stuff dont have, M-line a lot of stuff. Most annoying thing bout the b-line is no assist grip for passenger that one also want budget |

QUOTE(GL-ai @ May 15 2008, 12:06 AM) Dont think they will ever make 1.5 variants also The power output of the 1.3 is too close to the 1.6 variant, 1.3 unofficial records found that it manage to hit 98bhp and the 1.6 at 110 bhp. It's not feasible to create a 1.5 it might even has same power output as the 1.6 |

QUOTE(Azuma-kun @ May 15 2008, 12:24 AM) The 1.3 is in stock condition or what? 98hp so big wey The figures is from proton one reported by paultan and other sources, its stock with no mods. Proton claim 94bhp because not all engine can reach 98bhp. So if i mod my blm i think can easily get close to the 1.6 figure.Near to 1.6 stock already. Which i think without a proper break-in engine, even the 1.6 can get the 98hp in stock condition. |

QUOTE(Azuma-kun @ May 15 2008, 12:37 AM) Quoted from paultan :"The Campro IAFM engine keeps the Campro 1.3’s 94 horsepower at 6,000rpm and 120Nm of torque at 4,000rpm figures, with changes only to the way the power and torque is delivered instead of any change in the peak power and torque. Proton’s dyno tests of the new Campro IAFM engine reveals power ratings of up to 98 horsepower is achievable, but Proton prefers to publish the power figures in brochures at 94 horses for some reason, perhaps for consistency sake as not all engines may be able to achieve the 98 horses figure." http://paultan.org/archives/2008/01/18/the...and-test-drive/ |

QUOTE(Azuma-kun @ May 15 2008, 01:11 AM) Ya its a blm lo, actually come to think of it IAFM can be retrofitted as its only operated by vacuum pressure and not by ECU like the cps vim. So basically any campro can just plug and play and when there is a drop in manifold pressure vacuum(Open throttle) the IAFM will switch to the shorter runner. |

QUOTE(Darkmage12 @ May 15 2008, 01:19 AM) Second hand also is a no go also, the interest rate is quite high, it's no joke buying car then selling it after 1 year you will lose money, i suggest you finish your studies then only buy or let your family members drive it . Selling the car whether is new car or second car you are bound to lose a lot of money. Either keep it or don't buy it. Just a piece of my advise. But if you got money to burn why not |
