QUOTE(jenli_84 @ Jun 4 2008, 11:55 AM) yer....then how...i already change to MACH5....pick up slow....when i ask the lady say all her customer use MACH5.... I guess FC not entirely depends on the engine oil 100%now how...i drive very little mileage a day....very long only till 5000km....i scared my fuel consumption higher leh your driving habit, whether & traffic condition if you always stuck in jem while going to work..of course FC will increase |

QUOTE(westthen @ Jun 4 2008, 02:37 PM) erm one reason is my engine haven't really break in...sometimes i drive around 15km a day only which is very less.. another reason would be i like to over-rev alot aka heavy legs haha either way i want to drive longer first...maybe some outstation trips will open up the engine more. QUOTE(jeremymoke @ Jun 4 2008, 02:47 PM) after first service ald, stil the same, but maybe like wat westthen said la, haven break in the engine, going to penang soon, after tat maybe the engine will ok gua...... QUOTE(neverlog @ Jun 4 2008, 02:59 PM) Im not sure after 1st 1K service still can d engine break in or not? check the http://www.mototuneusa.com/break_in_secrets.htm QUOTE(SiuYi @ Jun 4 2008, 03:10 PM) neverlog noob question here..how to do brake-in? read..u think practical ka?its mostly asking u to paksa it to smooth it out..not very natural..erm..however i don dare to give that a try..haha.maybe i wait after my 2nd service. is it necessary for new car?I already reached 900km mileage..still can do brake-in? |

QUOTE(SiuYi @ Jun 4 2008, 04:06 PM) neverlog so, break-in mean drive fastla to move the piston in the valve kaw2? if im not wrong..cars less than 1.6cc is consider small car..1.6cc and above is big cars liaw..to be true, 1.6cc and 1.5cc car got big difference in the body design(big bars and metal parts)..heard from mechanic. nova_prospek from wat i read:break-in is u drive fast fast with high rpm..let ur car engine throttle.let the pistons jump like hell.haha.sanding the side of the valve then cantik liaw..haha.thats my term of break-in. |

QUOTE(runemastertan @ Jun 4 2008, 04:11 PM) have you played any dragging games before? If you played you must know that you must change gear at the border of the red area at tachometer. So, go to highway, just drive like you are in the dragging game. But remember, just go to until 130 -150. That should be sufficient. For auto, just floor your pedal until you reach the velocity Don;t go too long at that speed, a little while should be sufficient QUOTE(suiteng @ Jun 4 2008, 04:12 PM) Same like siuyi, it's like this wan.. i guess i can see the picture now Masuk gear 1, pijak until red light appear at rpm meter there, then switch gear 2, repeat until gear 5. When you're in gear 5 you should be doing 160km+- already. |

Added on June 4, 2008, 4:39 pm QUOTE(suiteng @ Jun 4 2008, 04:29 PM) so the whole point is to rev till u see the red warning light on rpm..ok ok..since i first get my car..i drove slowly and maintain the speed, never reach 120km above..i'm afraid to speed up coz the engine still baru & virgin This post has been edited by nova_prospek: Jun 4 2008, 04:39 PM |

QUOTE(SiuYi @ Jun 5 2008, 09:15 AM) -storm- don't rempit la..if wan to rempit use motorcycle juz 1 2 noe if the spoiler got extra rear brake lamps..i like brake lamps!the more the merrier!!! nova_prospek fuel mmng important for cars mar.wat2do..naik mar naik liaw.we still nd to use it thou it naik harga.however il still rempit if i got extra cash to refuel and rempit with.haha!!! anyway, still have to accept the truth that price hike is inevitable..we know all people piss off with sudden increase but try to look for the positive side of it (although I'didnt find one yet)..anyway, I'm not supporting the G's decision for rapid increase of 40%..if ski2 naik ok la kot |
