simple is often the best ... the less your setup has the easier it is to replace if putus .. and not as easy to spook the fish .. and cheaper too .. hehehe

for more details ... refer to my siggy tongue.gif

Hi sifu sifu there, i got question to ask...
Should i clean the line after fishing ?? If yes, how to remove and clean it ? smile.gif
*
if u are doing freshwater fishing then not necessary/no need ..
saltwater fishing on the other hand do require u to remove your line from reel spool especially those metal spools ... as u know saltwater corrosion very kow kow one .. it will eat away at almost anything after some time .. and they do get caught between your lines both mono and braids

use a mineral water bottle/big container/etc to take your line up / hold your line .. this is totally manual
they do have semi/fully automated line remover for sale in major tackle shops but costs a bomb laa
soak the line(s) in warm water for few hours .. this should remove most of the salty stuff
rinse your reel carefully in warm water (NOT SOAK THE REEL) ... wipe it dry and u should be fine

waseh...liddat everytime go sealion have to take out the line to soak? ph34r.gif
*
thats up to u laa ... sea lion u only use nothing more than 20m of your line anyways ... so the saltwater can be rinsed out very easily without removing too much of your line .. take out maybe 50m oso more than enuff ... then rinse the whole thing in warm water
if u go out to sea ... b4 u see anything oso at least 30m of your line out liau ... and u are constantly reeling in and out (in my case) rather than just parking your equipment like in sea lion .. hehehe .. so the water penetration to equipment is much higher in my case
