What you can get are those you can see in the pharmacies. The common names are Blackmores, 21st Century, Seven Seas. The multis would consist of more types of vitamins/minerals than you listed. And you don't actually need them in high concentrations - the recommended intake is measured in milligrams and micrograms. High concentrations can be toxic, or are simply wasted as they are not absorbed by the body. The best source is still a healthy diet. A great website (though with an American focus) for recommended intake is: http://www.whfoods.com/nutrientstoc.phpThis post has been edited by howszat: May 10 2008, 10:54 PM

That questions are very specific that I think only pharmacist could answer. But the thing is you should know the purpose of the vitamins.
For instances, vitamin B is good if you always get tired because it helps the release of energy from what you eat.
Hope this helps

My G.P recommends me to go for Centrum. I believe it is one of the best multivitamins out there that has the right proportions of every single vitamin out there (including B12) and zinc. Its better to consult with a G.P

Read these before you spend your hard-earned money. What would you depend on, then? The nutrition labels on the back of the bottles put there by the company themselves?

Even it's a bit more expensive than normal brands, but it's effectivenes can be seen in short term usage. Actually the effectiveness of taking all this supplement won't be seen immediately like 1 week after you take it, it will take maybe >2-3weeks or maybe months depending on individuals.
