just a question, must the internal (wiring from meter to DB and DB box re-wiring) work has to be started right after TNB done the external work(3 phase wiring pulled, change meter panel and meter) ?

Can it like once TNB done, then TNB connect back existing 1 phase internal wire, electricity resume as normal, until schedule another time with contractor to do internal work.

Errr.
The wiring from internal db to meter is not the responsibility of tnb.
They can come and do the external part without any problem.
If the contractor is licensed and accredited by tnb they might be able to open the wire clamps of the tnb meter to install two more wire from internal to meter to finish the 3 phase, then install new clamps with and report the number on the clamps to tnb. This you will have to make sure and ask tnb and the contractor properly or you might face problems in future....like tempering with meter.

I got this
the wires from meter (1 live 1 neutral) to internal DB is concealed --> require own assign electrician contractor to lay new wire from meter to internal DB and do the balancing.

I have a house at hometown where I'm not always back. I am wondering, can I first apply arrange with TNB to do the external wiring first, including changing the panel n meter.
TNB pull 3 wires (red, blue, yellow and 1 black neutral) to the meter, but only use one phase first with existing internal wire. the other 2 remain hanging uninstall.

So I can arrange with own contractor to do the rest internal work (hack and lay new cable from meter to internal DB, on another schedule.

What I am saying is this:
The bottom part where the meter is attached to the electric cable has cover with anti temper wire clamps that has numbers attached to the wire clamps.

That’s the part you need to clarify with your contractor and tnb. As any difference or evidence of tempering can and will be used against you.

TNB just did my 3 phase around RM2.5k

But i have to pay extra since i want my meter to be outside the gate and the cable pull directly from the post (not from neighbor)

With waterproof housing and installation around RM1K

Hi I'm trying to upgrade my house to 3phase, however the pole is not in front of my house but opposite. So they are are suggesting me to add another pole infront of my house which I dislike.

I asked them for the price of laying the cable underneath the road. They quote me RM25k!
Does it cost this much?

If the quotes and reply is from TNB , then it's the accurate price , if not, then try to take picture and go Tnb ask properly , where's your location actually

Sorry to hijack your thread. What are the steps to get the tnb contractors to install 3phase wiring from the pole to my clients house? Area is ttdi and the internal 3phase wiring is done previously by another contractor but my client didnt do it until I started work at their place and now they want 3phase wiring. And may I know roughly how much it will cost? Any number of tnb which I can call and ask? Thanks guys.

where is your meter box located now?

to apply for 3 phase - go to my tnb self service portal and register. apply from there to upgrade your power from single to 3 phase. submit docs via online process and select a tnb certified contractor. he will come and assess and do submission for you. pricing depends on tnb assessment.
