QUOTE(tinkerbel @ Jun 23 2008, 10:13 AM) not me...Many years ago... i can still remember... i was holding 2 gold cards from MBB, as when they billed me the annual fees, i do the same old tricks( redeem my points and call up for waiver) but the CS told me that I have to write in for waiver. I told them that other banks can waive my annual fees just by call... and i told them if they can't waive my annual fee, then i will like to cut my cards... the CS said:" Okay..."and she gave me a number to call to cut my cards.. so be it... I cut 'em... and dun hav any intention to get any cards from MBB again... |

I am a good pay master, and i pay in full everymonth! (never missed!)
I love to take advantage with all the cards facilities that they are offering... so, basically, i had almost all cards from all issuers in Malaysia b4... I am satisfy with a few, and of coz... angry with a few of them... these 2 are my worse CC experience... 1) MBB, i don't really like their CS, seems like they are too big to please their customers... so i canceled it! 2) SCB, if you late for payment (maybe overlook or maybe oversea) they will call u like ALONG... so, i canceled it |

QUOTE(vin_ann @ Jun 23 2008, 01:00 PM) btw, tht day when im called to Citiphone to checks on my accounts, the CS told me that im qualify for the personal loan sort of. do you need the money? no documents required, just called in, request, and the money will be banked in to your bank within 6-7 days. she said this kind of loan is only for those who are prompt pay master. PL interest is quite high u know? it is just abit lower than CC and Along... |

QUOTE(tinkerbel @ Jun 23 2008, 01:40 PM) @TeraPox, problem is that when my statement total is 891.2, i pay 900...Yes it's possible it was RM80 or something that was left out in ur payment hence the finance charges. Like I said, I only had this problem once in the last 8 years I'd been with Citibank. DA on the other hand is problematic when it comes to such; they're ocassionally banking my cheque in late and I always have to call them for the waiver *ish* where are they still charging me? |

QUOTE(tinkerbel @ Jun 23 2008, 01:52 PM) @SKY 1809, nope.. my citibank is only Gold...I don't make too much use of my cheque so decided to clear them off through issuing cheques *grins* @TeraPox, I don't work for the banks so I can't help U. If U want to know, the next time it happens, just give them a call and ask them. Since Ur using Platinum Cards, U should have access to their Platinum Priority Line - I assume it's a shorter wait on that line *shrugs* - I never used mine before so I wouldn't know the difference between their usual line and their Platinum Priority Line. my platinums are from EON, UOB X2 and HSBC... hopefully citibank will gimme an upgrade before I cancel it... |

first of all...
free green fee even i go to singapore... say 8 time golf per year I already untung.. further more, 10X reward points when i purchase in their partner outlet... means if i spend 20k in the following year in their partner outlet, i will get 200,000 points, which can lead me to quite a good number of redemptions.. of coz, not to mention the buy one free one meal @ shangri-la... which is already a good value-added benifit (the 499 package included a free room, but this amex don't come with a room, that's too bad) i've burst my calculator before i've make my decision.. and hopefully i've made a correct one... hehehe This post has been edited by TeraPox: Jun 24 2008, 03:30 PM |

QUOTE(tinkerbel @ Jun 24 2008, 03:30 PM) @TeraPox, ahahahaha.. i wanna upgrade my Mac soon... U don't need to go 8x a year. U just haf to play 36 holes p/day and that'll be good enough Also, the 10X reward points are applicable onli at their partner outlets and unless U spend a lot of $ there [wherever that is], I doubt it's gonna be that beneficial. Anyhow, it's ur call Btw, do U haf a local golf membership? And where do U usually play? What's ur handicap? Machines give me 10X points... so if i get myself a macbook air 6.8k = 68k points.. i also do some shopping in parkson... and if suddenly i wanna buy a watch in woohing... then wooohoooo! 10x points! Added on June 24, 2008, 3:38 pmI'm a lousy golf player... i don't have local membership that's why i have to pay for green fees. Our UOB platinum also let us play for free in a few gold course but only on tuesday... Added on June 24, 2008, 3:39 pmbut i've never tried that out...
