@TeraPox,
It IS true MBf isn't a financial institution - they're merely a Credit & Charge card company tongue.gif

And aren't ALL promotions a gimmick? tongue.gif
*
MBF sold all his banking divisions to AMBANK except the Credit Card Division... so they r now only a Credit Card Company...

Not all Promotion are gimmicks as long as u can really enjoy the promotion... like buy 1 free 1@ oriental group UOB. 7 Swipes to fly free, HSBC, Buy 1 free 1 @mellenium Hotel , Citibank.

but those promotion started with "stand a chance to win"and end with (*first 1000 customer only ) are some big fat gimmick...

@TeraPox,
To be fair, HSBC's promotion of the Samsonite luggage bag is also onli applicable to the first 1000 who meets the criteria.  As to the SG trip, there's onli like RM30k worth of tickets up [i dunno how many that is]

MBf is just 'kiamsiap' that's all biggrin.gif  I heard about the Get 5 promotion over the radio but I've never bothered to get more information about it; not MBf cardholder so no need waste time smile.gif
*
i like the HSBC luggage bag promotion, but only valid for new platinum members.. adui... else 20k in 6 months is not hard at all...and i believe if u've achieve that amount, they will still give u the bag even u are no.1001 to achieve it..ahahahahha..

I used to be an Idiot and "participate" in this "got 5" promotion... i've sign for i don't know how many hundreds times and i only manage to get 3 5s...

1st 5, they refund 50 buck...

2nd 5, not a valid 5 coz it's from a petrol pump(wtf)

3rd 5, sorry, only 1000 customer per month.. and i'm the 1001 one i think... vmad.gif

@tinkerbel
all cooperate card goes into one account...but u will be billed separately... and some of the firm really particular about asking their staff to use cooperate card if they are spending on behalf of the company... becoz, since they company pay for u, the reward point belongs to the company... not u... smile.gif

Yes the card should be under personal name; I just alwiz wondered if the benefits are the same; it should be.

@TeraPox,

Citibank called and informed me they had given me wrong information the other day about the 20 days free interest on retail purchase. As a correction, for those settled their previous' month outstanding balances (meaning zero balance) are entitled for the 20 days free interest on retail purchase for the current month smile.gif
*
so... means that if u have some unsettled balance in your account... u will be charged interest from the 1st day of ur purchase? hmm.gif

i cant believe it that im just done it. just now walking at the Jasco non-halal section, the cashier looks very nice, he is a trainee. so im just brought 1 thing tht i needed, saw him so nice n always smile, i asked him, can pay by CC? he replied with warm, sure can. i thinks this transaction is the lowest value im ever paid with CC.

@ Terapox
yaya. Citibank with Isetan. Yellow credit card is seldom see in the market. smile.gif

@ David83
previously CIMB got gives 2% rebates on the purchases at Giant. it's just a limited period. i thinks now no more. that time im 1st time saw the promotion in Giant, so brought something to try it and it's true. haha
*
I think Citibank Should look for Isetan to do a co-branding card la~

Higher Standard... whistling.gif
