I believe you're using Fund Transfer method. After that, you have to email them the screenshot with the reference number right? Does this step also applicable to Bill Payment method using HLB and CIMB?

i doubt there must b some hidden cost which they did not mention. I trying to read their prospectus but seems like their site is temporary out of service. Well, Im guessing here tat there will be some charges imposed when it comes 2 exit/redeem unit trust frm mrkt. Its quite costly if v look at tat way.
*
Yes, 1% of exit fee if < 90 days for certain fund; for instance, CIMB-Principal Australian Equity Fund.

*
Does your fund that you tried to purchase is under the the participating list?

Participating funds: http://www.cimbclicks.com.my/form/List%20o...1%2011%2008.pdf

I haven't top up this round. So I can't really comment on this.

Yes, the fund i wanted to buy is listed under the participating list.

I called CIMB customer service & fax them the print screen, too.

They told me that 1.5% is only applicable for e-InvestSmart

For e-Invest, the fee is 0-2.5%.
*
Thanks for the valuable information.

I just checked for CIMB-Principal Australian Equity Fund. Without participating for e-InvestSmart, it charges 2%

Hi, I'm very new in fund investment, just wanna ask,

If i purchase a fund before 2pm (CIMB bank), then the unit price will follow today NAV closing price or yesterday NAV closing price?
*
Before 2pm, today NAV.

After 2pm, tomorrow NAV.

Last NAV posting on the website is generally one day delay; meaning today posting is for yesterday NAV.

Just revisit the promotion by CIMB Bank, if u invest unit trust via cimb clicks (internet banking), you can enjoy 1.5% initial sales charge for most of its equity funds, they also carry other 7-8 fund houses funds, all equity sold at 1.5% sales charge only
*
I thought the promo ended on 31 December 2011.

I won't refrain from using the word "discount".
It may give wrong impression for some.  laugh.gif
It is not "discount" like in supermarket sales.

It just means the fund invested into something, and after deducted the annual management yearly, now the fund total worth is 40% less compared from the start.
*
I don't think that the fund invested into something that is causing the fund NAV to be "discounted" at nearly 40%. It's the losses of the fund holdings that has bought some shares at the very peak price. When market started to deteriorate in 2009, fund manager may cut loss by allocation from equity into fixed income instrument. Even if they didn't sell it out, it's still far far away from its peak price.

Correct me if I'm wrong.
