eh TS afer hearing the whole story
dude

ianho had a valid reason..
Cause of this two things

1. Ure comments were to disrupt trade ( whether u realised it or not)
2. Dually accounts on the same ip address... only u and god knows whether its actually one person or two different person.. which makes ure comments in his thread questionable.
3. whatever issue i had with ian in the past.. he doesnt do this

a) Does things for profit etc.. .. but of course he needs a little for the work he is doing
b) Doesnt recommend low quality products. The product he recommends usually has high quality and he is very fussy on this ..

Price of products depends on quality/volume etc/cost of bringing it in..

second did u even pm him before posting ??

Looks like the longer this thread goes the more ure burying ureself.

i left a post on his thread, and since the entire thread is gone now clearly he has probably seen it..

and ur list of things, are based on your personal experience with ian right?
well i'm just sorry i can't share the same good experience as you did..

if you feel this isnt getting anywhere fair enough, i don't think it will either coz now his thread is gone, till now he hasn't come here to rectify the issue..

all ur assumptions may seem against me, but so far solid facts don't appear to be..

only goodness knows what's goin on in the admin/staff/mod sector of LYN.
so as vikingw2k said, i dont want to generalise...to you good hearts out there (particularly the mods) this isn't directed at you..

well to be specific, i'm no expert in micro-fibre cloths...so there was a huge price gap (RM9+ and RM30+) i was just wondering what's diff and that's that.

i dont see why ppl take things so negatively, it's like a paranoia that every moment someone is trying to jeapordise your sale or something..
i mean there are people who do, and there are people who don't..so why jump to conclusions?

Well, I don't see why you couldn't have pm'd him instead of starting what many would consider a price bash in his sales thread. Why couldn't you have had the common courtesy to keep it private?

It's not paranoia, it's common sense. You just don't question another seller about his prices in public.

ETA: He doesn't have to explain anything. Whether you had ill intent or not is besides the point, what you did was wrong.

But I don't think that gives him the right to delete the post.

i'm sure you've done it before in any other stall throughout ur life..don't tell me you've never told any dealer/supplier/seller/retailer:

"so expesnive ar"
"the other shop cheaper leh"

or anything like that throughout your life...we're all hypocrites i know, so try not to make it too obvious...

maybe i should've pmed him..but why the sudden thread removal? why no explanations till now? he's been on..what happen to customer service?

i'm going to very well mention names now..siewkahow, i did question his pricing before in his very own thread, he didn't go all "remove that post!!!"

this is pointless coz apparently assumptions here seem to be making the judgement, not solid facts.

A customer bargaining is NOT the same as a competitor attacking another seller's prices. If you can't tell the difference...

I don't bargain, I wear a Chuck Norris shirt, let my beard grow out and tell the seller how much I'll buy his product for. There is no "oh, so expensive" or w/e.

Who's judging? We're simply explaining to you why your posts were removed. Why his thread was removed is completely unrelated to the issue.

if she/he reports that you are disturbing/jeopardizing the sales, mod might consider (based upon their discretion) to remove the disturbing post.

don't get me wrong, my intentions of that post was not whether he reported or not.

it's merely none but an excellent example of how a dealer attended to his/her potential customer...

ok perhaps i have mistaken there, fair enough but i dont really see the point of this continuing anymore

from the two quotes i see above...
just forget it, maybe one of the mods was aware of it and the other wasn't..or however u'd like to put it

P.S. if it seemed i was disrupting the sale, then i am aplogising for my misintentions.

leclair, do take note of the following as actual forum policy. (those who think otherwise, please keep your assumptions to yourself).

1. you had every right to bring up the question of a similar product with different pricing on a sales thread. We have, and will always practice transperancy when it comes to sales threads. The moderators or even admins are not exempt in any way from this rule.

2. The only exception to the above is if you intentionally jeopardize the sale with bad intentions or without proper proof to back your claims. Your post however was valid.

3. Moderator ianho will be notified of this, however, we will give him the benefit of the doubt simply because you made two postings from the same machine, and this would be sufficient reason to remove your postings. The moderator removed your posting as it might have appeared as if you had used multiple accounts to emphasize your point - which is a breach of forum policy.

I hope that is clear, to everyone.
