May I ask if anyone's N82 keypad got some weird "squeaking" or some weird "yik-yik" sound when press the keypad? My one seems to have it almost every keys when I press it. Kinda irritating sound when press it especially during sms.

i always play my friend n82, no sound at all lol~

some have...some don have..juz like u buy proton cars.. Some got weird sound dono from where...some no sound at all...

but u can try using USB Cable
1) choose Data Transfer once N82 is detected on your window pc
2) open "My Computer"
3) locate the drive eg. "Removable Drive E:" and right click select Properties
4) Select "Tools"
5) On "Error-Checking" group box, click "Check Now..." button
6) Select "Automatically fix file systems errors"
7) Click "Start" button...

hope this will work... never try on this method before

how long did u leave it and still cant access?

i once had a corrupted mp3, took 8secs to open...and this was with 4gb of mp3s.
now i got 7gb of mp3s...opens within 2secs.

So far I've tried it out several times, it still works fine. Yesterday I took a route from Kajang to KLIA using the toll avoidance feature.. It works!

mine too. actually the sound is from the panel (not the button).When i just got it, the 'yik-yik' sound was from somewhere near the menu button. i pry open it using finger nail and close it back. then the sound is gone. But lately other part of the keypad panel is creating sound . Now is around the area of key 4 - 5 and 7 - 8. haha

That squeaky sound also appears on mine. No solution yet.

waaa...i also afraid when new n82 got sound like that, before i send for new change phone no soound coming from my keypad, but today if the phone that i got have that sound, i will ask for refund, i dont want incomplete n82, i want a perfect n82...


p/s: today they will give me new n82 since my last n82 got dead pixel(just bought for 1 day and see the dead pixel on my n82 screen). if they postpone it, i will ask for refund, i dont want lousy n82, i want a perfect n82,,haha..
