There are two types in the market. one has the rounded top, looks ugly while the other is sharp rectangular shape. Well, For me it won't look bulky. Adds a bit of style to it tho.. the only thing is the quality, the rubbery strips at the side started to peel of less than a week, exposing the cardboard where the leather sticks on. However, current max is 8GB micro-SD, but the 16GB micro-SD should be released anytime now.
4) is the auto-rotation thing same like accelerometer? Yes, it comes default in N82.
5) stereo speakers like n81 also? N82 is stereo, but take note both speakers are located at right side, i.e. both speakers will face up when you rotate it 90º anti-clockwise.
6) support n-gage? (not much of a mobile phone gamer anyway, just curious  ) Yes.
7) anybody else things the phone is a lil too long? Yes and no. The length is alright for its width. However, the wasted space between the LCD and keypad should be shorten.

Hello there all, I am a new N82 user. I have a problem with my nokia map which it is unable to load. I am runing on the new firmware. Anyone know how to fix it (start the nokia map feature)? How long do I have to wait for it to load...cause it seems that I've been waiting for it to load for about 10min but it doesn't even load. moreover, I have to shut down the phone by pulling out the battery coz my hphone stucked.
And another question if I may, how do I use the barcode scaner feature?
Thanks.How anyone can help me in solving these problems..especially for the GPS nokia map.

something strange happened this morning, when i launch garmin mobile xt, it's like 1st time launch where it ask for language, font, voice etc... in fact i've been using it for the past few days. now all my saved locations are lost. anyone having similar issue?
i'm using v4.20.00 with malsing map v2.28 3rd edition

I personally don't think the two programs have any shared files, so Nokia's should not mess with Garmin's data. I pry open the keypad cover and refitted it. Now no squeaks.

I have run both GMXT and Nokia Maps simultaneously for 10-20 minutes driving. No clash. |
