Any collectors of TOMY TOMICA diecast ?

why don't u try find it at toy r us instead of jusco? i've saw many of tomica product in TRU SJ. now got clearance sale at TRU avenue K, up to 70% less. good luck in ur finding..

 they have models that aint available from other diecast car manufacturer but i will never buy yellow color tomica...... cause the paint job aint good |

Like the Civic Type R, so far have not seen it in M'sia. Got ppl here managed to find a few, but I even saw someone with so many of them!! I saw the tomy mega cruiser patrol car at the Jusco IOI Mall Puchong....RM7.90....but no sign of Integra Type R..... I saw the Nissan Z...(silver colour), Honda Fit/Jazz(pink), Mitsu Grandis, .... but noticed that tomy cars a bit out of proportion ...right? |

LC, we pretty much have the same taste. Though i havent ventured into Tomicas yet as i just started with HW.
But i luv big vehicles from Tomicas, namely Hummers, trucks, transporters, fire engines. The light transport vehicle u posted in the 1st post is chun la. Hope u can find it, get one for me as well heheh |

so far i have seen tomy at jusco, isetan, metrojaya...
normally they have a display of the range in a transparent cabinet/or posters,...and the stocks are stored below the cabinet....that is locked. u need to ask the staff to open and take for you.....first u choose the car u want from the poster or the display cabinet...then u c below whether the stock is there or not....I guess Tomy do not have any reissue or yearly edition like Hotwheels.... so i guesss is cheaper to collect ?? less variations...  I saw the tomy vintage and also tomy limited collection such as mini cooper, Toyota Levin (at jusco midvalley) |

bought a Toyota Crown Police Patrol car and also the Toyota Harrier today...
(can't afford the real Harrier ....  ) the boot can open one ! so far I got only 3 Tomy Tomica eg. Litt Tak shop in Sungei Wang have Tomica 24/7. all major department store oso selling Tomica in their toys department...hulu-hulu department stores i donno lah! Tomica come in: regular series which we all can find nowadays. limited series which only produce 1 times! 'special' series which is crossover 4 any company, events, anime,.... annivesary series which is once in da blue moon... da total models 4 every year Tomica is 104 models only, which mean same num will come out different model in different year! etc. no.54 in 06' is blue Subaru Impreza but 07' is Honda Civic Type-R. any Q plz post up here....i'll answer! |

managed to get these 2 new Tomica at KLIA eg. Suzuki Swift SPORT & RX7 patrol car !!!
is quite easy to get the NSX(i saw it there at KLIA,,,including PASSO, Dahaitsu Mira, Toyota Alphard, Skyline safety car, Lambo Murciegalo, Porchse boxter, etc ...etc) but I just bougth 2...(not enough vitamin M)eg. Suzuki Swift Sport, and a Mazda RX7 police car that come with sticker (police wordings in japanese) for me to stick on the body.. today lucky lah...managed to get the 3 car pack at RM16-90....got 1 RX8, NSX-R & Evo VII... (is approx. RM5-70 per car only !!!)

Actually, I am not fan of Lancer Evo VII...don't mind too let go....but the box got the price tag mark...

BTW, I am quite curious on the age group of the collectors of these diecast (hotwheels, matchbox, tomica...) I also like combat/military series...tomica....but never seen it before in Malaysia... your JSDF 114 is just a regular Tomica... the police honda bike also nice... |
