Any collectors of TOMY TOMICA diecast ?


I am interested to get the Tomica / 114 JSDF Light Armored Vehicle, any idea how much? and where to
get it in KL ? i tried Jusco but can't find it....

I saw the tomy mega cruiser patrol car at the Jusco IOI Mall Puchong....RM7.90....but no sign of
Integra Type R.....


I saw the Nissan Z...(silver colour), Honda Fit/Jazz(pink), Mitsu Grandis, ....
but noticed that tomy cars a bit out of proportion ...right?

any bros owns the Tomica animal truck carrying Pandas/Penguin/Aquarium/Shark.... ??? is cool

I am new to tOMY TOMICA too, I find it quite interesting with its various vehicles genre eg. commercial vehicles, buses, animal
truck, police patrol cars, JDM models, etc...

but I think is not as easy to find as Hotwheels (suprisingly, I can't find it at Isetan Garden midvalley) ....
I am getting the mega cruiser soon...from jusco (it will be my first Tomy)

so far i have seen tomy at jusco, isetan, metrojaya...

normally they have a display of the range in a transparent cabinet/or posters,...and the stocks are stored below
the cabinet....that is locked. u need to ask the staff to open and take for you.....first u choose the car u want from the
poster or the display cabinet...then u c below whether the stock is there or not....I guess Tomy do not have any reissue
or yearly edition like Hotwheels....

so i guesss is cheaper to collect ?? less variations...

I saw the tomy vintage and also tomy limited collection such as mini cooper, Toyota Levin (at jusco midvalley)

hi I saw toyota passo in one of the Jusco !!! most Tomica based mainly on japanese models right?

Today I saw tomica Mini cooper, Porche Boxter...etc

What I like most about Tomy Tomica is that we can just take it out from the box and play with it...then
put it back in the box for collection !!! ...

well else...Hotwheels...u can see but cannot touch...

bought a Toyota Crown Police Patrol car and also the Toyota Harrier today...
(can't afford the real Harrier .... ) the boot can open one !

so far I got only 3 Tomy Tomica eg. Mega cruiser, Harrier, T.Crown (hope to add more in the future...so far I have seen a few that i may get in future eg
Subaru unmarked police car, Skyline Safety Car, Celica Rally Car, Nissan Skyline police car, Pajero, Honda NSX...etc)

hi Addrik...u got a message. (leaves a few Harrier for me.....thinking of getting 1 or 2 more .....hope can get other
colours too....)

managed to get these 2 new Tomica at KLIA eg. Suzuki Swift SPORT & RX7 patrol car !!!



is quite easy to get the NSX(i saw it there at KLIA,,,including PASSO, Dahaitsu Mira, Toyota Alphard,
Skyline safety car, Lambo Murciegalo, Porchse boxter, etc ...etc) but I just bougth 2...(not enough vitamin M)
eg. Suzuki Swift Sport, and a Mazda RX7 police car that come with sticker (police wordings in japanese) for me to stick on the
body..

I think most stores very slow to get new stocks..probably due to distributor problems...never
replenish...

today I saw at one of the Jusco, 30th anniversary Tomica cars...(year produced= 2000) some with dirty boxes,
scratches, etc...if not I will sapu all....for collection

da rally swift is less quantity in Malaysia so is 1 of da 'sapu' target guys!!!!

it was the only left (a display set)..which I don't mind to take.... I left the lamboghini murc....and skyline safety car, celica
rally car at the toy shop @ KLIA...

any idea where to find these ?
