OMG! SEXY CAR ALERT! I so want that car! drool.gif

What's the series for that black RX-7?

Regarding the TL Civic Type R, I have to disagree. The CTR Limited that I have is actually quite good. Compared to older models, the Civic Type R has a more streamlined shape than most cars, it has no chromed parts, sharp edges to mould nor does it have fancy headlamps. All those considered they did a good job. The only improvement can be plastic headlamps but I've yet to see one on Tomica Limited (I may be wrong on this). The other problem may be the finish, which is certainly not the case with my unit. I'm pretty pleased with it! thumbup.gif

I agree that the quality of not just the TL Civic Type-R is poor and far from TL-class, and even some of the regular models are made poorly too cry.gif hope they will improve soon.. I realise this is seasonal.. sometimes good and sometimes bad.. strange!  shocking.gif

Special Model Series. In fact Tomica has so many colour variants, re-issues, box set versions and running series that it would be quite an incredible feat to capture them all cool2.gif

Where to get your IT fix in KL

QUOTE
SINGAPORE has Sim Lim Square, Thailand has Parntip Plaza.

In Malaysia, Plaza Low Yat is the indisputable top shopping mall for cyber-geeks, gamers and IT aficionados.

Located in the middle of Kuala Lumpur's Golden Triangle and surrounded by malls like Sg Wang Plaza, Bukit Bintang Plaza, Lot 10, and Times Square, the place has, over the years, become a "must-visit" for those looking for IT and lifestyle products.

According to Plaza Low Yat's area manager, property and building management services Francis Anthony, the main factor that has been pulling the crowd is its one-roof concept.

"Almost everything that's available in the market in terms of gadgetry, latest IT products, mobile phones and cameras are available. With the number of outlets here, prices at Low Yat are definitely the most competitive in the market," he says.

Currently, Plaza Low Yat has in excess of 400 outlets and kiosks, providing IT-related devices. There are also service centres and after-sales/back-end centres to ensure customer satisfaction.

"We always urge our retailers to provide good customer services. We also constantly review our retail mix to ensure that we stay ahead of the competition," Francis says.

Plaza Low Yat has an added advantage of having other group-related developments in its vicinity such as the Federal Hotel, Capitol Hotel and BB Park, and the soon-to-be revamped Federal Bowl Centre, all of which create a "city within a city" experience.

"It's part of a bigger vision that will be revealed in due course," he adds.

Plaza Low Yat's recognition as a centre for IT products did not happen overnight. "It took us a few years to evolve into Malaysia's best known and largest IT lifestyle mall. It was a carefully thought-out strategy by our board of directors and chairman Tan Sri Low Yow Chuan," Francis says.

To ensure continuous attraction at the mall, promotions and bargains are an active part of the retail lifestyle at Plaza Low Yat.

"We and our retailers/resellers enjoy tremendous support from Microsoft, Hewlett-Packard, Toshiba, Samsung, Dell, Sony and LG in terms of back-end support and advertising. This is something which sets us apart from others," Francis says.

"To remain competitive is an ongoing challenge which keeps us busy. The retailers need our support and the principal's support and we, in turn, need to support them. It's about keeping a healthy, balanced business relationship and partnership between all parties," he says, adding that the management has to ensure that the latest products are always available at competitive prices apart from providing a safe and comfortable environment for shoppers.

Yep, but these series tend to have a finite number, more like 6 car set, 12 car set etc. It's like Tomica striking a deal to produce cars for various corporations/organisations as a one-off collaboration. You don't have to collect everything under the sun dude.. maybe just the Regular Box plus a category like "Sports Car" for example flex.gif
