Yeah F1, I was rooting for Felipe Massa after he got into last place following the pit stop mis-launch. However, it was not to be a hero to zero to hero again story alas.. but still hope he scores some solid points for the remaining races. Anyway back to topic, can anyone who have done more travelling to both countries sense which is a better place to source for Tomicas? SB-TDM Fire Chief Car Put it this way, Malaysia - Price lower, but less choices Singapore - More Choices, no quantity, but expensive

Okay, would it still be better to buy regular stock cheaper and then source for the rare ones outside M'sia - best of both worlds? Depend very much on what we are collecting isn't it? is it me, or there is not many Tomica fans over in M'sia too? Actually, the Singapore stock situation is quite pathetic. Most of my collection are from overseas.. = $$ QUOTE(toycarsmy @ Sep 29 2008, 03:01 PM) Put it this way, Malaysia - Price lower, but less choices Singapore - More Choices, no quantity, but expensive 34-Ratatouille - liked the movie so that I bought two, one as a gift to a friend This post has been edited by Percivale: Sep 29 2008, 03:21 PM

Hey. Big or small, we are all collectors alike In time, your collection will grow and that's one of the best thing about collecting small diecasts, we have the space and capacity for growth. Well we all started with one piece ya know.. You brought up a point that I had given some thought before. Some folks would buy up in a singular telling sweep, for example all the Tomica Limited Editions 0001 to 0100 from one Ebay/Yahoo auction, as they have an extremely generous budget. However does that make him/her a great collector? A great collection maybe and the envy of others perhaps but where has it gone - the fun, the satisfying experience to hunt rares or value-for-money buys and the act of imploring friends and family when they go overseas, and then of course there is the showcasing of your Tomicas with passion and a photo gallery of your collection for memories etc. In short, I tend to define a collector not by what he has collected but how he collects them. QUOTE hey thanks, would try to upload some pics.. but just started recently most probably all my collection the senior collectors already owns it  here's some ENDLESS Tomicas.. literally I mean This post has been edited by Percivale: Sep 29 2008, 09:17 PM

Keep on going Elgee! SB-JGTC 2001 Nismo GT-R I agree that the quality of not just the TL Civic Type-R is poor and far from TL-class, and even some of the regular models are made poorly too hope they will improve soon.. I realise this is seasonal.. sometimes good and sometimes bad.. strange! QUOTE(zefflodo @ Sep 29 2008, 08:13 PM) hopefully next batch have better QC .....lets pray hard...
