hello guys..im not an overclocker
but i need to ask this
why my cpu temp quite high eventhough im not overclock yet
idle temp is around 50c...using x2 5000 black edition with triton asus heat sink with fan
is it black edition all like that?sorry if similar question like this appear again

ohh really?i tot the same too....i use lot of monitoring software...core temp,pc wizards 2008,abiteq also in bios
all the same...where did dts located?on mobo or cpu?

sumthg is wrong if all sw showin d same temp. u mite need to consider to reapply d thermal pate & reseat d hsf. smile.gif

But isnt the G2 has error in detecting temp?Try touch your Heatsink whether its warm or hot.Btw,Intel Nehalem OC will be limited to mainstream user.Anyone heard this?Means Intel Nehalem Proc only those extreme are able to OC very well.

Just bought Arctic Freezer 64 Pro, quite satisfied with its performance, even at 3.2GHz 1.415V it never been any higher than 52C on non air conditioned room when running Orthos smile.gif
