Hello guys, I am student from Multimedia University (MMU), I'm looking for any MMU student who interested in joining my friend and me to form a Pets Lover Club (any suggestion of name would be considered) in MMU since there's no pet club in MMU besides CARE Club and this would be very interesting club. I know there's a lot pet lover out there. I might need a lot of info to make a strong proposal in order to convince Mr Omarudin to give us chance to form this club. What we can do to help u? Support only?

alot of thing u guys can do especially info about any established club or society in malaysia so that we can use as a platform. if there's any exhibition or event about pet also can tell us so that we can manage any event for our club that collaborate with. of maybe in terms of pet's care. we accept most all kind of pet but for the starting maybe a few pet will be choose.

Good to know that u really hav the passion wit pets. We'll definitely support u!

yeah i was thinking last night, in mmu there might be alot of pet lover but instead individuals, y not we do it in club.

Have u actually got the planning and proposal? Open a society or club arent easy. Just for instance, what will ur club do when all the members meet? Discuss about pets? I dont think is necessary. Karate club can practise skills, but ur club can?

can lah.. dun worry.. i think meeting can b juz like a gathering... we can bring our pet in sch... activity such us.. working together wif outside organization like SPCA&WWF.... publish article like animal care-sheet... that shud b okay... and many more.... IF THERE IS A WILL, THERE IS A WAY.... GOGOGO...

yea, i dun think it's polite to bring pets(especially dogs) to school which u will get nasty response from sum Malays... not mean to be racist here but just to point out the possibility.

i would like to support u,i am one of the student at there,currently gama years.i rearing bulldog now.i hope mmu got this club,it will attract more people to join and this will make all of the mmu student socialize each other,this will be great.but one thing is most of the bumiputra in mmu cannot touch dog....summore hate dog.beside tat i hope this club can do like getting more information about mka show,show our dog and cat.beside tat can adopt cat and dog.can work for SPCA at subang by volunteer urself,provide traning for dog and cat also.help to dog and cat find a new master/owner.and many many more lo,haha.i got some idea.xD

too bad i'm studying at TARC, there all chinese,not MMU if not i would join. haha

do sum sessions include introduction of diff species of each category of pets, charity work-a big yes, maybe can also do a mini pet-related publication/newsletter, pets' picture contest, petition for cruelty to animals, invite vets/pet experts for speeches/seminars... things like tat...

waahh only a few hours i left my room, 12 post added, well i already thinking all u guys said, and since i can see alot of SUPPORT especially from mmu-ians, so i might need meeting with u guys, so i'll post later for the details. about type of pet, personally i wont hesitate to have a pet like dog, event we muslim cant touch but it still a pet, so that part will discuss with chinese member, so that wont be any problem. anything WE NEED A DISCUSSION for this club.

I dont mind if the dog doesnt lick me or bite me. I can tolerate them well, especially when the dog barks.

yea..i agree with uzairie..and actually, the for the gathering place i dun think it will be a problem...it not necessary in mmu, and FYI mmu will not provide any room for any club in mmu...and that y, i think we need more people to make this thing work perfectly..and the more people give their opinion...the better outcome we get~!! bidangayah, may i ask are u a malay student? another thing is, are u from MMU melaka? i'm from mmu melaka and basically i can give support 2 u if u need any signature or wad. now i'm keeping tarantulas as pets, i got 12 of them, and hopefully the collection will grow. if there is such a club wujud in MMU, i'll join too. support!!

as far as concern, minimum member we need signature is 40, but theres some say 70, but that will settle when i meet mr omar, what we need to do now is we discuss all the possible prob that might occur during discussion tomorrow. alot things to do, we need advices from experts such as, SRC, any club president, from any organization etablished in malaysia. after that we can proceed to make proposal.

I dont think its a big problem to let MMU Melaka join. Transportation is small matter mah. A lot MMU students came from rich family, parents can afford car. Its not like we're have to gather so frequently. Only once in a while kan. I'm sure its gonna be a lot of fun

In fact, this is a unique club and stands out of the crowd. For the founder(s), please keep on going. Dont let tiny hassle let u down. I'm sure you will get even more support. Silap2 president pun sign up.
