wanted to know. can sugar glider travelling along with you to foreign country? and isit tht country legal for keeping glider? i meant canada. i'm planning to get one but going to study oversea. erm...

We have to take precaution.... coz gliders don't really know how to swim. Some may like the feeling of water so that is why they take a dunk into your cup or tank. Make sure aquariums all got cover lah. Luckily my Keera don't like water, I got a mini newt tank with no cover but the water is only like 2 inches deep.... so no problem if she goes inside.

Well.... it's not really normal. Some gliders do it coz they fall asleep while eating. Some like the cool feeling of the metal bowl.

Don't need to reheat actually. It's perfectly fine in room temperature or serve cold coz if you reheat in microwave, can actually destroy some of the enzymes in the Slurp.

Males sexually mature faster, like 5 to 6 months they would be capable of breeding. Females reach sexually maturity at 7 to 8 months. To breed, it is better if the female is like 1 year old coz by then the female would be fully developed and is healthy and strong for breeding.

If you are gonna go overseas, BIG ADVICE is better not get a glider. It is ILLEGAL in certain states of Canada.

They groom to clean themselves, not necessarily itchy.



NO, I don't think it is a good idea to let them learn how to swim. Most gliders don't know, even in the shallowest water they can drown.

Just make sure your aquarium is covered all the time and your suggie is locked up safely whenever you are not around.

Gestation(pregnancy) period for a female suggie is only 16-17 days.

When a joey is born, it will crawl into mommy's pouch and stay there for about 8-9 weeks(appx. 2 months).

During in the pouch, we are not advised to disturb the joey by peeking open the pouch or rubbing the mommy's pouch too much. It can lead to stress or accidently detach the joey from the mommy's teats.



Although Hun has mentioned it, once again, if you are traveling overseas, PLEASE do NOT get a glider.

The fact that certain states in Canada is illegal to keep gliders is another No-No factor.

You will only put a lot of unnecessary work and stress to both you and your glider.

Apparently Vicky is VERY pouch protective. She gets crabby if she can see someone coming from her pouch windows. She will even attack. and her teeth can still makes your fingers bleed if she bite through the mesh window.

She is alright when she's outside though. Gonna let Vicky stays with me in bonding pouch all day today to make her feels familiar with my presence. Also will put Teddy inside the pouch as well since she's a lot calmer if Teddy's around.

Poor girl. She wasn't pouch train with the breeder. She is good outside, but very protective over her pouch. Yes, she is only comfortable when there is another glider around. Take your time to train her lah She is a sweetheart.

havent tried trimming before..scared..they keep moving around..used up all mealies cant keep her busy..haha

another option: bring to pet shack for nail trimming service! 10bucks only..

Hahaha... Vicky is cute. She would grow up to be pretty good size as she looks like her big bro, my Kimba. Hehehe... from same breeder but I just adopted Vicky's parents so I'll show you a pic of her handsome dad called Gizmo. Mama is called Sugus and she is a shy soul. Gizmo got cleavage!!!! Like got boobs! LOL

It will take training. I didn't train her yet. After I ambik, straight bagi you coz I know you can't wait for her heheheh.

Wah, besarnyaaaaa..... 2 gliders only? I see everything also double, double red wheel lah, double black sleeping pouch lah.... only hammock single je heheheh.
