anyone did full overhaul for kenari before? how much you guys spend for it?

Dont think mine is the 1st model thou,
front lamp is like the aerosport version,
originally dont have a roof rack on it,
now wondering is it easy as in apply gum/double side or need to drill the roof

My kerina is 1st batch is come with roof rack and orange tail light.
I don't think the roof rack will be useful,
If I need install the aerosport tail light and must be used the longer end the support from rack end to tail light and still need add spoiler on top the rack end.
Is a bit costly

If you can found it, I think more nicely to compare no spoiler.

Have you guys facing gasket leakin ? How much to change ?

If your gasket leak and found your spark plug got dark oil then the only way to be change to alumn. Top cover price at around Rm450+/- may check with P2 SC.

but what i ask the price is only rm48 to change gasket. Coz the gasket start got engine oil leakin due to hotness of 3 spark plug right ?

Ya, mine last time is found on spark blug bottom is oily and the gasket starting leakage already, the only way to be change the top side of spark plug cover.
Maybe your once is difference case.

how about flying wheel oil seal leak?

How do I activate the auto window? I accidentally activated it once but never got around to do the same again. I tried holding the button for a while and just a single click, the window stops rolling the moment I let go the button in both cases.

fly wheel oil seal leak will cost more, coz engine need to be remove to do the replacement. Thus, it s recommended that you change the clutch plate together.

Added on November 26, 2011, 1:20 pmsingle click window rolling down is automatic on the driver side, no activation. If it doesn't work, most likely the switch is giving way. cost for switch in spare part shop RM80

Do you mean the about the Valve Cover ?
Mechanic told me to change the Valve Cover now, cost RM280,
because got oil leaking around the Valve Cover area.

Is it common to change the whole Valve Cover just because only the Gasket spoil ? he said no selling only the Gasket,
in order to get the gasket/seal, must replace the original Valve Cover RM280...

Is that right ?

Really doubtful about changing the whole valve cover. Normally, if only valve seal leaking, change valve seal only, unless u hv other problems.

Not sure if this is kenari specific problem. Maybe experience kenari owner can comment on this.

May i know what's your mileage and how old is your car? so many places leaking..sounds very high mileage.

Mileage hit to 150k and above.

My engine now running got noisy like 'mesin jahit'
already 2times flush engine oil and put treatment but still same..

any advices??

i got a 2nd hand kenari my for 1st car...is there anyone can tell me about the sound system? im planing to change the speaker and add woofer that cost less than 1k

if 1k then sound that come out also 1k quality
as long as u dont mind
but once u sit in another fren car that sound system cosr 5k
then u will hate ur sound system d

not to demotivate u
but i am driving kenari also and i got very mild setup in my car and that alone cost about 2 k ++
and some are even second hand

May I know what types of engine oil do Kenari accept ?
My engine oil is leaking, so need to fill up frequently now.
Temporary only, I planned to fill in other spare oil use 1st then bring to repair.
There are many numbers in engine oil

10W30 on semi synthetic.
