lol, I was driving it to work and back. So, would say around 60% City, 40% highway. Air con is on like 40% of the time only. During highway driving, I was told that if I leave the window down w/o aircon, it actually resulted in more drag. So usually I on the aircon during highway drive.
But I think the part that contribute to my good FC is my "golden right foot"  icon_rolleyes.gif Coz my speed average at 60km/h only during city drive.  sweat.gif

p/s: My kenari is 100% stock. Oh, Manual Transmission by the way.
*
notworthy.gif notworthy.gif I drive kenari manual (stock) only managed 420-430km per RM50.
Achieve it without sweat.gif. Air con 100%.

Loseeker, your kenari FC is incredible, and not many ppl can get such FC like u do. I would be happy enough if i can do 90km with RM 10. It's already so much cheaper on fuel if compared to other cars. Haha

ok here it is guys. i have new problem T_T.

this morning went for a regular service at perodua and the mechanic found somekind of MINOR leaking. he said to keep an eye on the 'minyak hitam' once a while. it isnt really that much a problem he said. the cost to repair it will be around RM500. i dont know what is the problem really coz aunt sent it while i took her car to college (she's on her day off).

so, what is probably causing this?
*
May i know your mileage at the moment? Is the leak bad?

just did the 115K scheduled service by perodua wink.gif. not that bad i guess since the mechanic said it's minor n for precaution just frequently check my 'minyak hitam' level which i do it every morning smile.gif

what do u think?
*
First of all, u hv to know where's the leak. But seems it's minor where u don't find drops of oil in your car porch, then it should be fine.
Perodua SC tends to overfilled the engine oil (lazy man at work), pls make sure it's not overfilled.

Going up genting is just simple task for kenari. Lower gear used was 2nd, with 2 persons.
Kenari has weak rear springs. I think there's some mod available. Ori spring is too soft to carry 2 passenger behind.

ahchun, what are those wear n tear items u changed so far?
Mind to list them, and the $$ involved?
How bout aircon service?

Those who went to Denso, mind to share some experience?
Location, and pricing?

TQ in advance tongue.gif

Change gear oil every 20k km. At perodua, RM 25 for oil, + some charge for labour. (if remember correctly)

How much did u pay for your air con service?
What are the things done?

Changing gear oil is cheap, doing it every 20k km is alright. Small gear box doesn't require much oil anyway. Hehe.

Haha....RM 50 - 500km only happens in your dream.
350km should be reasonable figure.
Maybe auto user can give more accurate result.

Buy a mouse trap to catch the moues. Or u can hv a cat.

Your air con belt probably loose. Get air con man to tighten it will do.
If your air con belt is getting old, get it replaced.

Anyone here replace the rear spring to a stiffer 1? Kenari rear spring is really too soft.

How bout higher damping rate absorber?
Mind to share your experience? Looking forward to replace them.
Thanks

CUS spring? How bout the absorber?
Ori height is a good thing. I don't want any lower spring.
Mind to share the ride quality after the change?

Thanks for your feedback. I m thinking of changing the spring cuz it's just too soft for any passenger at the back.

Hv u tried using other absorber other than apm gas type?
Is this absorber same length as ori?

10k km interval change for spark plug is just too short.
That's why i m thinking of changing to iridium spark plug, supposed to hv 100k km interval. 1 piece cost about RM 45.

Doing some simple math, it's worth the price provided it can last at least 50k km.
