Is it 1:1 ratio or 1:3 ratio?

How do we subscribe to the warrant?   Do we have to fill up some form that they send to us and return it before certain date?   Gosh!   Never expected it to be RM0.10 per warrant.   Hehehehehe.....this is quite some good news.   Oh, when can we exercise the warrant or sell it?
Who is the remisier here?   He can be my best friend to answer the above questions (so many of them) that I have.   tongue.gif  tongue.gif  tongue.gif  thumbup.gif  thumbup.gif  thumbup.gif  notworthy.gif  notworthy.gif  notworthy.gif    Thanks.

I missed the boat too.   Well, have to be patient and wait for another round of 'luck'.   Hopefully GAB will get 'readjusted' too.    tongue.gif  tongue.gif  tongue.gif

1:3 ratio

buy 30lot of YTLPOWR, you'll get to buy the 10lot of the warrant at RM 0.10

lklatmy works as a remiser.

T+3 will be tuesday not monday. Tuesday morning they will call you and ask you to top up your account with x amount of ringgit (however much is needed to pick up). They will say do it by 4pm if you want to pick up, else the next day (wednesday) they will force sell.

The funny thing is ......

Maybank will get all the commissions from forumers, but you do all the explanations.

And the forumers think it is very fair to support such a marketing system.

I would opt for Alktmy if I do not have a broker now.

Singapore's GKG bought KINSTEEL recently.

doesn't mean anything here.

maybe he see the price is cheap, so he buy to keep (to increase his stake)
maybe he buy to goreng (as per you wish)
maybe this maybe that..

judge your own.

I don't mind, because when I first start using Maybank's platform I also had questions. So now I just want to help others instead. I fully agree that a physical broker is beneficial to investors, however, there are pros and cons. Are you implying that Alktmy should not contribute here for free but start charging consultancy fees or soliciting clients?

And there is no marketing system. Maybank will gladly answer your questions if you call them. This kind of info is not specialised insights available only by a remisier.

short term, if timing is ngam, 5 minutes oso can consider as short term brows.gif

long term...3 to 5 years, or a decade, or more, a shares that you can sleep with it for the rest of your life. warren buffet is one of the long term investors that we should look up for, he buy more than sell, therefore his wealth is multiplying every year.

gkg is a broker / invesment company from singapore .. from what is mentioned in the papers. I doubt they have any experience in steel trade business. so IMHO they want to make profit from kinsteel based on kinsteel prospect and not interested to run the company.

SO... my personal conclusion is that they will help push up kinsteel price..
lately i too immersed in goreng to notice good value shares..
maybe after i letgo all my goreng, i will be a good boy and concerntrate on value for money shares.

Carlsberg Q1 earnings soar 150% to RM27mil

News: Click here

closed at 4.36 on friday.

@cherroy

aiseh man, i still remember you & kinwawa were busy queueng at 4.06-4.08 on last two week tongue.gif
*
Aiseh, if putting 0.02 higher (we kedekut people mah), then getting it already. Now Carlsberg yesterday close is 4.32, can make Rm200/biji already.

So sometimes luck plays some part on it.

Once I always Q lower price at Titan but not getting it (around 1.45-1.50), then it is fortunely not to get and now 1.32 only. tongue.gif

Anyway, it is not that good result for Calrsberg. It registered 150% rise because of last year poor result as a benchmark comparison.

With 8.67 Q earning is not enough to sustain its 35 cents annual dividend like previous. Bare in mind, 1Q is always the best Q for beer businesses due to Chinese New Year festival which surely registered good sales. So normally 2Q won't be as good as 1Q.

Yes, I agree with you.

I cannot afford to speculate because of lost opportunity to get a sale ( i am a salesperson ). All the contra gains if any would not make up the money to my one "lost sale. "

As you say, to speculate mainly for fun of it.

Yes, it is always should be the way.

i was thinking, can i say that the some of the Q1 earnings are contributed from CNY sales? you know, the chinese drink a lot during special occasion like this tongue.gif

as the months go, the profit probably not as high as Q1, as i believe alchohol shares are moving based on "season", certain season (Jan-March) will expect a good earnings, while certain months would be pretty quiet. rolleyes.gif

Market is not stupid either, people familiar with it anticipated it most of the time. There is no guaranteed they will report good result every 1Q, just like Carlsberg last year.

Also, cigratte and alcoholic stocks most of the time, price will be under some pressure near 3Q because of budget, raising tax. brows.gif
