QUOTE(panasonic88 @ Apr 26 2008, 09:07 AM) Many Steel Stocks are trading at PEs ( around 6x to 8x 08) , below current CI fair valuation of 13X 08 ( should be higher at 1280pts ).Worth to take a look at them. You may have your own likings as well. Hope you can share with us why you choose a particular stock, rather just giving one line statement. We all hope to learn from you too. |

Worth to take a look at them. You may have your own likings as well. Hope you can share with us why you choose a particular stock, rather just giving one line statement. Yup, that's true in real life.when i say "speculation", i won't bother about all those fundamental issues. afterall, it is meant for speculating / punter-ing. you won't have the intention to buy and sleep with that share for a decade. another eg, a PN17 counter can be "char" until go up the sky, who cares whether it is PN17 or not, right? Speculation short term, look at technical side and goreng side. After all win or loss, you are going to sell no matter what happens, it is not meant for hold mid to long term either. But if meant speculation then let it be short term, win or loss never mind. It is for fun only. Just like going to Genting casino play few rounds then go home with some excitement. It is not meant for serious and big money involved. |

But do not get caught , cos you are not the only speculator. Watch out for day traders, they have cheaper commissions to pay, and they run very fast. just my 2sen opinion. QUOTE(SKY 1809 @ Apr 26 2008, 10:08 AM) I see many forumers are buying 5000 shares or more per stock to speculate. the young chap is always a risk taker, as we grow older, we tend to freak out, worry this and that, avoiding high cholestretol aka goreng food, like you say, steam food is better for health I wonder whether it is considered to be small by today's standard. I am kind of out dated. jokes aside. if buy in small qty, need to wait longer for the price to breakeven, as brokerage fees aint cheap nowadays (if you go thru remisier). buy in big qty, as long as the price jump a few cents, they will throw. goreng / speculate is meant for FIFO (fast-in-fast-out), the faster the better, otherwise if it over cooked or the show is over, you'll be trapped at high price. |
