nope, instead of running the wheel he is running around the cage like mad for almost everytime he is awake,

he is with me only 3 days.
at 1st i thought that he act like that cos he haven adapt himself to the enviroment but for 3 days in a row sound a bit unusual

He is not unusual, just your expectation for him is too high, expect him to adapt himself for only 3 days from those kind of environment? How old is he now? I still remember my Fumoffu was like that running around in the tank, climbing up and down restlessness, digging everywhere non stop except he is asleep, for about 2 weeks. Some hamster take longer time to adapt to the new environment, just give him more time and see how la. What he is doing is just wanna to get out from here and run away... I don't think there's anything wrong with him.

Then back Kl n upload the video yah.

So far I never see any pet shop selling Aspen bedding in KL as well as other places except one of the small pet shop in Ipoh got the last 2 packs in the shop but it's already very old stock.

Added on April 29, 2008, 12:41 amI thought Kaytee which selling in Pets Safari is also Pine except Aspen? Correct me if I'm wrong.

Why not buy Delikate Chipsy as it's much cheaper than Aspen and easy to get, around RM26 for the large pack (not sure how much is it) where Aspen is RM32 for the bulk and non profit price. Kaytee got varieties of color one meh??? Safe ar?

Have been reading a thread in Garage Sale, this guy is selling robos and yet the other thread is asking people to give him robos for adoption. I think he is trying to get something free and get profit from there. Hereby, I advise every hamster lover do be careful what kind of people you are dealing with if you wanna give your pet away or get pet from others. DO NOT support people like this. (Sorry for getting angry here, just pity those hamster owner and the pets.)

It's ok, you are not stupid la. Just maybe you just a bit impatience and wanna see him to be good and tame so that you can handle him like the other hammy you have. We all also still learning la. Be patience and give him more time.

ya.. same with my hammy.. they always eat the tail first then left the head run away into the bedding.. until i need to dig ere n there.. so far i've lost track of 2 mealies in the tank, cos the bedding too many, very hard to find.. haih forget it la, let my hammie do the work

then what should we do with this ppl..? all of the seller or the ppl who wanna give their pet must be careful..

LOL.... Well, I don't think your hamster will do that job to find the remaining oart of the mealies body. To prevent this happen, I took all of them out one by one to feed in a empty tank. No more left over bodies of mealies in the bedding and waiting to get rotten.

Well well, so people who wanna give away their pet, make sure they are going to good home and responsible owner. Control breeding is the key....
