QUOTE(anderyna @ Apr 26 2008, 10:35 PM) Your syrian is a long haired.... Looks like it, do take a clearer pic please.I also think it is not a cream.... looks more like cinnamon. Eyes what colour? Black? Red? Brownish red(ruby)? QUOTE(jayniel @ Apr 26 2008, 11:34 PM) of cos in de beginning i geli lo, oso very scared to touch it.. so i buy forcep.. now i'm gutloading them with vege & catfood.. and just now i tested my hammies reaction with the mealworm.. they all grab the mealies like never eat for 1 yr dy Yah, your gutloading sounds fine. You can include carrot as well.Added on April 26, 2008, 11:44 pmi'm gutloading my mealies with Blackwood catfood, quaker oats & salad leaves.. is it ok? as for the Blackwood, i'm not too sure whether it's the right brand cos i dun have cats or dogs before QUOTE(xSnail @ Apr 27 2008, 03:10 AM) Hmm.. About the mealworms eh, anyone of you put them in fridge? I googled around and found that some did this and some not. The advantage of doing can reduce the food they eat as they hibernate. Yes, keeping in the fridge will slow their metabolism, causing them to slow in growth and activeness. This is useful for people who have trouble finding mealworms and storing in the fridge can last many many months. Also, when you store them in the fridge, they hibernate and will not turn into pupa or beetle. Will maintain as worms.So... Anyone doing this? They are finishing the food real fast hehe QUOTE(-Nos- @ Apr 27 2008, 07:31 AM) They won't die in a fridge, but they would die in a freezer.QUOTE(weefung2003 @ Apr 27 2008, 06:03 PM) but i know is my fault lar.. so i did`t angry with him.. and i feed him just now he take the food from my hand and eat inside the "home".: QUOTE(rubicube @ Apr 27 2008, 06:26 PM) Help, My hamster RC just gave birth to 5 pups and I have separated the male. Turn black?Looks like one pup will not make it and is turning black! WHAT TO DO!!!! HELP HELP! Anyway, I saw the other replies by other members.... do not listen to pet shop staff at Pet Safari.... they got limited knowledge. Separate the male for good now. Then you won't have a headache with many hamster babies popping up. QUOTE(sangels @ Apr 27 2008, 10:53 PM) If you have no intention to breed them, then DO NOT listen to the people from the pet shops and put the male back after the isolation. Ypu should not keep a pair of male and female in te same tank in the first place. As long as you keep different sex together, they'll breed, and then you need to get to buy more and more accessories for them, you also have the chance of inbreeding with abnormal pups...... imagine you'll get 5 pups every 3-4 weeks from 1 pair I think yours is a long haired coz I see from face..... this is how my short haired Golden looks like when she was young:Added on April 27, 2008, 10:55 pm That's a solid umbrous. Dunno it's long haired or short haired yet, but it looks like long haired for me. Have to confirm first as I'm not too good on this QUOTE(shenshenshen @ Apr 27 2008, 11:44 PM) OVO wheel too big.... it takes time for them to learn how to use. That's why it is better to use a tank, then you can get a wheel that is suitable size and make it a better living environment. |

Oh...Thanks crazymouse...
Wanna get your opinion here My baby is 25 days old now, just named her 'Kiko'. She is not eating very well since I got her back. She eat a bit if I out the vege in front of her and she climb inside her fresh food bowl and dig around then come out. Only eat a bit of prestige. I'm thinking of pumping her as much as I can but what can I do to make her eat more as this is an important period for her to grow in size. Or maybe she is still adapting herself now, that's why not eating well. On the whole, she is very tame but a bit scared when I tried to hold her. Now just placing all the food around hoping she can eat more and leaving her alone at the moment. |

She may not eat much fresh foods coz it could be the breeder did not feed enough? Well, monitor her food intake for the next 5 days. |

QUOTE(shenshenshen @ Apr 27 2008, 11:44 PM) I think this problem is common. The place I bought Pastel from doesn't provide a wheel for them to run on. So when I first bought him, he was very interested to try out the wheel but was running AT the wheel instead of ON it. Gosh I feel so tickled watching him do it. Should have taken a video of it. But he runs on the wheel fine now. Your robos will get it. |
