Thanks for the advice.  I know what you mean and I did read up before I start owning a hamster.

Seriously.....stop thinking you are the only one knowing everything under the sun.

Your advice and intention is good but your tone sounds like 12 years old. rclxub.gif  rclxub.gif  rclxub.gif

Jayniel...

I am sorry if I offended her or anyone else.

Scold before knowing the full details is not good and I don't like the tone.

It can be as simple as "hey dude, Habitrail is too small for Syrian, need a bigger cage".

After that, if I said something really stupid then start scolding me. Probably I will try run and hide like that kid in the V6 thread.

Anyway, let's by gone be by gone and move on.

smile.gif Yes I agree. We have to admit there are many people who will get pets befor doing research, based on cute impulse lar. But we should try our best to help that someone who will wanna care for their pet despite having no knowledge of how to. smile.gif It's also one of the reason for this thread right?

Sorry for interruption but I have to agree with what d100200 said. No offense but sometimes the replies are a bit "strict". We might be newbies but some of us did really did research before owning a hamster, just that still having some doubts and want to clear the doubts. The "angry" alike tone replies freak us out, and will never dare to ask anymore in here.

Just my 2 cents smile.gif

I apologized for the harsh tone I've use earlier on if it's hurt your feelings

Of cos I'm not the one knowing everything under the sun and there's lots to learn more but I think I know better for Syrians than you, therefore I'm telling what my experience and knowledge.

I think I'm smarter when I bet to other people and know what is suitable to give for Syrian and I will not want a pet with a sudden interest even I'm just a 12 years old kid. Btw, just a friendly suggestion, maybe next time you wanna evaluate how 'adult' yourself are from your reply before judging other people as 12 years old kid icon_rolleyes.gif

Fyi, the person in V6 is not running or hiding for 'stupidness' or get scoldings from here. He did something to his rare species Syrian and twisted the fact in here and being not honest to everyone regarding his hamster as he causes death to the hamster if I did get the info correctly.

Just wanna make it clear. Some of us here are being 'strict' from the reply cos we really care for hamsters even it's not ownself. It's good to ask noob questions but I think it's also important to do some reading ourself for the basic knowledge rather sit down and keep asking for people to spoon feed. If you think the imoticons freak you out and you dare to ask anymore and make you not giving good care for your pets, then I really dunno what to say. We'll get angry with the actions, not the person cos we do care for the pets and I think all pet's owner should love their pets and give them as good as we can. I can assure you that not all pet's owner will do research or reading before they own a pet, not even after they own the pet. I'm glad you did that.

That's applied on you only. If you really have the heart to give the best care, no one will be harsh but helping. Just not all people like you. They just give whatever unused and left over for their pet. I'm not pinpointed anyone but I do know people like that. icon_rolleyes.gif

Now I know why Binky bites you.... coz Binky is a hybrid and it inherited the RC biting habit. WW rarely or never bite, but RCs will if they feel uneasy. Puddings have a bit of both species characteristics.

Anyway, about the strict tone. I don't see it as harsh. It is a good way to learn from mistakes. Sangels have been very helpful. There are people here with harsher replies and I do not see Sangels as being harsh. Maybe you guys over sensitive or emo... but you guys must remember, we care for the animal and want you to give the best care you can provide it. No one here is opening their mouths to talk nonsense. We got experience, good and bad so we share.

I have seen many members here who were once very newbie with hamsters and did mistakes, but now they can talk like proper keepers already and have good knowledge. That, I'm really happy and proud to see.
