Updated my GT5 P.... now its says SpecII plus a whole new intro

^i think it says the GT TV servers are being overwhelmed.

ok, basically they have special offer - 10 Yen for a clip. most of the clips are SD and rental for 14 days. i have some Yen in my account so why not try it?

need to login to JPN account to d/load the clips, got a option to pause d/load. i'm trying to d/load the ferrari clip (>700MB) and its moving very slow. i can see some network activity but the counter at the top keep saying 000%. not sure la, mb leave it overnight and see how.


note: the proxy method don't work anymore, kenot just sniff the link and d/load the .pam file on pc like last time

Any GT5 kaki here wanna try time trial for Fuji Speedway F using Mitsubishi Evo X. I've been playing this track like mad and only managed to get 1.55.908 The fastest driver managed 1.53.913 and thats 2 seconds away There's only 2 Asians managed to get into the top 100.

Edit: Managed 1.55.487 this afternoon.

I just bought the EU version.. Tried updating it at least 30 times, but it kept failing everytime. I used uPnP 1 & 2. Still cannot success.. Please advice me.. sigh

Make sure your connection is not sharing with another PC. Just allow the connection dedicated for your PS3 else it'll always DC.

i really can understand why devs cant put the updates in PSN so we can download it in the background. But then again, its actually our streamyx. even getting Assassins Creed's patch (16MB) took almost an hour of my life.

i just got my GT5P and just wondering, can't i tune my car? cant find any options to tune...

After finish A-class events, then can tune. But no parts upgrade-buying e.g. rear wing/spoiler for more downforce like in GT4, afaics.
Performance index limitation in S-class events ... me must tune better,can't get close to AIs in front with my noob driving skills ... haih ...

why the tuned-car race in S-events so hard to win compared to supercar races? I used F430 (no money to buy extra cars so far, just buying according to those needed for events), could win in supercar races, but when tuned down for 650 performance points tuned-car races, like couldn't catch up.
Is it better to use Japanese cars then? Getting the Mine Skyline soon first lor ... then what's important to tune apart from the power n weight n tire? Gears ratio I normally adjust for faster acceleration ... depending on tracks oso ... car height low, brake balance oversteer a bit, traction off, ABS 1, chamber n toe I don't kacau yet, turn angle? ... what else ...
If got more time, I'll test thru trial-n-error ... no wanna read FAQs yet, ... but the game I rent wan, so gonna return back soon ...
... else maybe I'll just enjoy the online racing for now, and dun care about finishing all the S-events ....

Yeah.... the tuned-car events are really tough to win if you are playing Professional Mode...


Reason is, all of the cars you're racing with have more PPs (Performance Points) than the allowed PPs.

Example , in every race, we need to tune down the PP to 700 while the other cars have well,, 740+ etc etc.

Best car imo... is the tuned elise.

Try it out.. with proper tuning... the car blazes thru all corners in a really high speed.

So syiok. Hopefully can spot the G25 @ Pc Fair....
