Integra one is easy.. no brakes, no release accelerator... flat out all the way, with the help of slipstream... easy easy only lar... make sure you dont come in contact with any of the AI.. if a slight nudge.. might as well start all over again. REMEMBER : FLAT OUT !!! Without getting hit or hitting, easy win.

And yes, i play only in Pro mode.

I'm using DS3.. but then again, i've been playing GT games since GT1 with the analog sticks. So, my steering and acceleration with the analog quite ok lar. haha... use the cockpit view to see how much the steering move lo.

Too bad there's no Making Of in GTTV. Also, i think you meant GT5 Pro..

100% success so far for joining 2 "people icons" , 1 icon, will take at least 2-3 times of trying to connect.

3 icons, mostly difficult, as there are too many people accessing. Nowadays, very seldom see 3 icons lar.

Most popular event is the Suzuka one.. always 12-16 players one..

The ID will show [JP] as in Japan. Mine will show [SG] because i use Singapore account.. some show [TW] Taiwan lo.. [IT] Italy lo.. etc etc etc.. If you go to Rankings, the country flag also will show.

The online races are classified by "Performance Points"

Pro Mode ... most of the online races, are 700 points maximum. So everyone will tune their car to the max and you'll be surprise to see how well these dudes drive. They are amazingly quick !!

A GTR35 700 point car beat my Amuse 690 point car by 24 seconds.

Hahaha !! And oh yeah, i was starting from 4th. Was dropped to 8th in 2 laps.

I guess i'll stick with the japanese version then... as i said before, the way they play wont disappoint us.

Erm, honestly though... theres no point adding each other. Cos you cant invite each other for a race....

Ok.. the trick is... the icons does not mean 100% you'll get in.. it's either someone is racing... and by the time you connect, there was noone else connecting.

Just let it run by itself,,, eventually you'll get in. Get errror, connect again.

A good cue is, after the "X" button disappeared from the screen... have a look at your line connection, if it stopped blinking, means you will definately not get in.. if it keeps on blinking like crazy.. means, you'll be in.

I was 6th for that race.. from 16th... hehehe...

Was lucky also la.. a few people went off in front of me, and i somehow managed to avoid any collision with them ...

Nice race though.

My best finish in suzuka yesterday was supposed to be 2nd from 10th place... until some idiot knock me off in the straights. Argh !! i was freaking mad !

lol.

And yeah, i was on S2 tyres and zero tuning.. i actually forgot to change to my "B" settings. hehe. When i got connected, i was shocked 600 something points only... aiyoh.

Easiest way to practice is use the Suzuka/Fuji (as there are twist and turns and long straights) circuit with a slow car, a cappuccino or something.. a swift maybe. Once mastered that, do the London track. With a lot of shifting due to tight and slow corners.

With enough determination, it's not that hard. You'll get used to it within an hour of practice. Also i'd recommend you use the right analog stick to accelerate and braking for a much more precise application.

You'll be able to play F1CE with manual with no problems after that... and F1 cars requires a lot of quick shifting... like Monaco. haha

You bought US version, so you'll play with US fellas lo. Mine is Japanese version, so i play with the Japanese lo. hehe.
