Definitely the PS3.
But for now, the 360 seems much more attractive because of its ability to play pirated games plus all its best games are already out.

For the PS3 we have to choose and research about the game we are attempting to buy to see whether we will like it or not.
For the 360, we can just pick up a game and TRY it to see whether it's good or not. |

Microsoft better fix their damn RROD hardware problem.
Issuing 3 years warranty isn't helping. |

QUOTE(satriakid @ Apr 28 2008, 09:15 PM) I hope they don't come out with another crappy design so early and phuck up the console wars by buying so many exclusives, depriving real gamers from enjoying games on a high quality, un-RROD-able system. |

QUOTE(zio @ Apr 29 2008, 11:39 AM) Actually, the fact that 360 games are easily pirated is one of the key reasons not only for Malaysia but the rest of the world as well. Nope. Other countries such as US, Japan, UK and Europe plays original games.Sure, people might not be running to the nearest mall to get their fix but they are downloading it from torrent sites so it is all the same. So, free games available online vs paid games? You do the math, there will be tons of people going to buy the console. And when the PS3 is finally broken down, you will see flying it off the shelves when "free" games becomes easily available. It is only in developing countries like Malaysia, people buy pirated games. That is why in developed countries you see that hardware quality, graphics and library of games become the factor over deciding which console to purchase, not whether the console is able to play pirated games or not. |

Oh well US and Japan buys original games more than us, that's for sure.
I'm a veteran in their forums and there ain't the slightest hint of piracy talk whereas in lowyat.net, you can find them daily. |

QUOTE(acougan @ Apr 29 2008, 10:44 PM) i have a working 360 and a ps3. my collection of 360 games (top quality games too) is also larger than my ps3's - yet i seldom on my 360. am i an incurable biased fanboy? Gawd, you should appreciate your consoles!i think its actually better to have only 1 console cos not enough time to play all the quality games on multi-console Not everybody are lucky enough to have both! |

QUOTE(nakata101 @ May 1 2008, 12:35 PM) I can mean the modded machine owner must know that modded machine will get ban by M$ after get into the LIVE, so after ban, they can skip the reason for paying online service. And that will lead to an even suckier reason why xbox sucks which is not being able to play online! |

Oh well I'm not much of an online player myself.
But the way the 360 is doing things, it is kinda funny to get a 360 to play games without using their online services. It is one of their main selling point. So Malaysians haven't really caught up to online console gaming yet? |
