I hope they don't come out with another crappy design so early and phuck up the console wars by buying so many exclusives, depriving real gamers from enjoying games on a high quality, un-RROD-able system.

M$ must included 3ROD la.. if not how cum they can sell 18 mil++.... .... ( half/1/4 of it 3ROD).... if more console 3ROD... more they make money.......

I think more people are starting to realize the RROD issue by now.
Not every xbox owner are aware of the RROD issue when they bought it.

Wonder why ? Because its the only next gen console with pirated software available , graphics nicer than Wii. If you're malaysian and familiar with the mindset of the typical malaysian you can certainly see it this way.

i bought 360 coz got good exclusive game such as Mass Effect, Lost Odyssey, HALO, etc.... that all..

Both consoles have good exclusive games, just that 360 has been around longer so you have a bigger library of exclusives.

PS3 is a multimedia device, not just a game console. On the other hand, the 360 online experience is beyond what the PS3 is offering currently.

And we know what the Wii is, it is casual, it is fun, it gets even your dad, your mom, your uncle or your grandma involved in your favourite pasttime. It made gaming a family affair.

So who is the best? I say for the first time, all three consoles stand on par with each other. So, choose whichever poison you prefer. There will be no regrets.

for me its the game that makes u buy the console we are call gamers because we play the game. if not we would be calling our self consoler and not gamers im into ff series so playstation 3 it is for me.

So for who are looking for pirated software, u think how many Malaysian+other country have bought the Xbox360 from the record of 18million ???

Actually, the fact that 360 games are easily pirated is one of the key reasons not only for Malaysia but the rest of the world as well.

Sure, people might not be running to the nearest mall to get their fix but they are downloading it from torrent sites so it is all the same. So, free games available online vs paid games?

You do the math, there will be tons of people going to buy the console. And when the PS3 is finally broken down, you will see flying it off the shelves when "free" games becomes easily available.

Nope. Other countries such as US, Japan, UK and Europe plays original games.
It is only in developing countries like Malaysia, people buy pirated games.
That is why in developed countries you see that hardware quality, graphics and library of games become the factor over deciding which console to purchase, not whether the console is able to play pirated games or not.

sorry bro..those developed countries you listed there (except for Japan) are the big pirates. Only they dont sell them. we on the other hand, have retailers selling them.

I'm a veteran in their forums and there ain't the slightest hint of piracy talk whereas in lowyat.net, you can find them daily.

That's when you know you're browsing the PSP forums or the poster is from the other countries and they're most likely asking a question.

They don't talk about it openly doesn't mean they don't do it.
