No need to tembak2 lol.
Although the price diff is around 10k, but monthly is not that much. That's why i considering these two.

Really like swift since it first came out. But now, the look is a bit dated - more aunties driving it on tbe road..

Fiesta is new, with bit more power and gadget, fresh looking. Handling, boot size, comfort, i think is about the same..

Both are compact car, so it fit my needs for a second car - wife will be driven it.

So, please share why you all choose swift - can pm me if scre ppl tembak2 u wink.gif
*
Comparing between swift and fiesta(I drove both)

Power - pickup and top end is a lot better than swift
Handling - cornering + high speed cruising is better than swift
Comfort - It has sport seat, hug you better compare to swift and quite comfort, NVH? still fiesta win
Technology - Fiesta has additional Traction Control
Audio system - Fiesta win for sure
Features - Fiesta has more features(check it online)

The only thing bad about fiesta is the re-sale value and spare parts availability. Maintenance is more or less.

I am driving swift and fiesta belongs to my brother. I like swift a lot but no doubt fiesta is always better than swift.

ic-klass: if you want to know more about these 2 cars, do PM me smile.gif

heard the double clutch is quite problem-matic. like the those CVTs.. most of the fiesta still new OTR, so we'll know later.
*
Then I would suggest you buy Manual transmission with Carburetor engine, then you will avoid a lot of problem smile.gif

hi, all swift members here

My sister just bought a new swift, may i know whats the recommended tyre pressures for this car? according to the car manual, front 230, rear 210
, when full load front 230, rear 260, do you think we should follow?  now temporarily i advise my sister to go for front and rear all 210, not sure whether ok or not ? is it advisable to have front & rear different tyre pressure? normally i prefer all 4 tyres have same tyre pressure  blush.gif I also curious why some cars recommend all 4 tyres same pressure, but some cars recommend front & rear different, any reason ?? blink.gif
by the way, the swift tyres are 185/60/15

Just follow their recommendation smile.gif

hi, i still dun quite get it, coz some of the fwd cars, they also recommend all 4 tyre pressures the same, how to explain that ?? blush.gif  icon_question.gif

Added on March 20, 2012, 10:42 pm

isnt it troublesome to follow their recommendation? we have to keep changing to different tyre pressures when non full load n when full load? isnt it quite troublesome?? shakehead.gif  shakehead.gif i think i now ask her to put 220, all 4 tyres, should be ok ??? hmm.gif  hmm.gif
*
I don't carry load, so I maintain on 230kpa(front) and 210 kpa(rear) on 195/50/R16. 220 on all 4 tyres is ok, result... depend on individual

thank you brother !!  cool2.gif

any idea where did you guys buy the rear head rest from ? (coz there's no rear head rest in low spec swift).. i tried to ask a few car acc shops but none of them have the stock, they told me to buy from service center  doh.gif

the car quite solid, try open and close the door, sounds real solid, and the NVH not bad also  rclxms.gif dun know whether its the car still new, now i feel that the car engine is totally vibration free, very quiet from inside  cool2.gif

dear chrislyv,
I regularly service my car at Puchong SC (Mawanis). Actually, they did suggest you to use 4.5L (Suzuki Fully Synthetic Engine Oil RM248). But you can opt for 4L.
Bring your own engine oil will save your cash a lot. smile.gif
*
Bro, I would suggest you drop 4L, 4.5L is way too much. Too much engine oil will result in poor FC smile.gif
