I've been driving swift for 5months, so far so good, having lots of fun driving this car.
1 thing bad about this car is... their spare parts could cost you a bomb sweat.gif

what kind of spare parts? smile.gif

my mum's kelisa also cost a bomb... some more need to wait... e.g. engine mounting, RM1200, wait for 3 weeks
*
Last time my friend(swift also) bang a taxi and he sent his car for repair, changed 1 x front bumper, 1 x headlight, 1 x radiator, 1 x hood and some minor items I guess, cost him RM10k++ for insurance claim blink.gif

Some more swift is not like vios or city which has more people using it, so we have less local manufacturers produce our parts, so sometimes you have no choice but to buy original(this is where it costs you a bomb) which is imported from Japan.
Last time I saw a hood at SC, got airplane tag hanging beside, from japan tongue.gif

insurance claim no need to say lar, they can inflate it to "earn" money one... some more is your guessing... my colleague's vios front kena bang almost like what you described also more than RM10k ar...

i see quite a lot of swifts on the road actually... i'm always around Klang valley area by the way...
*
Yes, insurance will inflate the price like you said, even if you pay yourself for the repair, it ain't cheap, only a front bumper already cost you around 1k, even if you get aftermarket bumper, which is going to cost you around 700 also.

If the car is in stock condition, yes you still have 2years plus warranty. And check the service booklet, if the owner service the car at authorized service center every time.

any of you guys experienced front brake problems? over rough surfaces, not very rough, for example, the yellow horizontal lines on the road which tells you to slow down, slow speed, very very noisy.........

apply a little pressure on the brakes, the noise will go off.......
*
Tarak face this before. smile.gif

1 thing I don't like the stock brake pad, need to apply more pressure compare to other cars I drove before...

I think by default it wil set as fuel saving mode.
Mine 5 mth old swift was like that, no power @ all.
Then ask my bro help me tuning abit (tighten the cable), then it bcm 'Normal' mode.

Btw, my full tank can hit 400km (min) 500km (max).
All depends on ur foot pressure & traffic condition smile.gif
*
Tighten the cable is same like you press the pedal harder, it is useful when you floor the pedal.

The best I can get is 15km/l, got it once! Tiap tiap hari listen to Kenny G, cruising around 90km... cool.gif

swift sport using monroe suspension, ride height a lil bit higher if compare with normal swift but more stiff.

Can't imagine that your swift sport could manage 6.5/100km FC... mine is swift just could get 7.6/100km FC...

White color? Make sure you have time to clean your car weekly, or maybe twice a week. If you are lazy on cleaning car, forget about white color

Anyone using Lucas oil? feedback?

40k KM, in Japan they recommended to change every 80k KM, SC told me that we change earlier because of our hot weather

there's no solution unless you change your exhaust system. the culprit is catalytic converter and it restricted the exhaust air flow. mine is ZC31s Swift Sport comes with 2 catalytic converter from factory even worst, yours i guess is ZC21s so only 1 under the extractor. once de-cat it you'll feel more pull  brows.gif
*
Don't de-cat la... not good for our planet... sad.gif

Fiesta also has a lot problems from engine to audio system. This base on my brother and my friends Fiesta cars

I could make long list here about bad side of Fiesta but I'm not tend to bashing other cars.

While you tend to think your car above all and bashing other manufactures which shows that you ignorant person.

While for the price of Fiesta I could get Inspira or Forte which is for me better than Fiesta.
*
My family have both swift and fiesta, me myself is driving swift, both are great cars. Fiesta wins in most of the aspects compare to swift. From acceleration, technology, NVH, features and design, swift could not beat any of these except for the price. I don't think Inspira or Forte can give you the fun that fiesta can provide. it is just like people say "While for the price of Swift I could get Vios which is better than swift".

Just my 2 cents, no offence to fellow forummers here. icon_rolleyes.gif
