hmm..after one year of use...

Spark plug iridium, air filter(not sure which one..heard open pod is bad for 1.5), forged SSR C2 rims ( 10 spoke ), and new spring..tanabe or gab..

after more than 4 years..

change to manual. hahahahha!

then more mod... like touch gear ratio..make it short. flywheel also change. i wanna make it like my previous satria.. 0-100 7 sec. biggrin.gif

thats a big list! oh! last time u had a satria too? care to share?

here are more nice pic.

yup.. a 1.6 xli. not much done tho..only 3 mod..

1. piping from xtractor all the way to border s304 exhaust. Rm700 piping is 1.8" to 2".
2. sport spring APM. Rm murah jer kot..
3. manual gearbox from perdana 1.6. short ratio..cost me Rm2k.. dunno why so expensive..

performance..if only i use the tyre like my swift now.. Potenza Re080.. haha..can gain 7 sec or less for 0-100. coz all else left stock..even my air filter is stock. wahahah~ well, that car already a history.

its simple ma... only the transmission is a bit complicated. haha coz when u know wat to mod, u can save more. n, i only spend less than 4k to make my car quick enough to catch a mivec or v-tec. blush.gif

i see.... more on the technical side eh... brows.gif

i drove swift before, the auto gear is very good. once step on the throttle pedal it feels rigid.
but braking seems abit spongy, compared to Neo.
i like the oem ICE too. the interior looks class to me unlike Proton.
so it's a fun car to drive but abit over budget to own one. tongue.gif

most Swift owner tends to mod the exterior only.

yeah..n i try not to follow they trend. hahaha~

but agree on u on most point... gear, ice feels nice. brake not sure..maybe my satria last time very loose n weak..so suddenly switch to swift...the brake is ok for me..in fact, its so ok! haha

its kinda pricey..for a ckd hatch.. but, now i fed up with proton, moving on to JDM.

but, this is not a car to be settle down with..not many option to upgrade the power too..unlike satria..mcm2 ada!

so, i would jaz go easy on the mod.. that manual mod..ntah la..its 8k u know. hahahahah! crazy!

Swift & Neo has something in common, hard to find aftermarket parts.

normaly i have to book it & wait long long for it to arrive.... sian! wink.gif

not much choices too. the shops threat my car like guinea pig coz they never mod Neo before hai.....

but yeah, last time i was thinking only fuel saving car and value to buy..like BLM n such..but after too some tots, i still can't get my head over a performance and fuel guzzling car... haha...aihhh..susah mau hilang oo...addictive to speed.

but i've seen lots of neo done their mod very well.. some can catch up with my satria.... dunno wat they mod..but look very awesome! biggrin.gif

how does actually spongy feels like? hahahah no idea here.. n even if its a drum brake, it already equipped with EBD + ABS. the stop mark is so strong already, u can hurt ur chest when u brake so hard. haha..if put disc brake, have to add like 50 more hp.. then only necessary. hahahah~

same case ere bro..from my speedy satria into a boleh2 la punyer swift..haha..

i'm not sure myself..but thats the quote i get from scm.. n will try this project after 4 years... now not worth it even if more power can be derived..coz new car ma.. haha.

but ther are many methods can be done.. some people jaz mod the transmission..like me..some, maybe a track piping..but cost like 5-6k..not including xtractor tho..haha..but some mod giler2 to the engine..aka turbo or supercharger...now Sam supercharge is interesting, but the power it give..jaz not up to my satisfaction..hence 13k is not worth spending..better i do manual, n put some minor mod after that..thats more like it rclxms.gif
