streamyx been down for month+ only today back online but the speed no longer at max! they still monitoring my connected port due to fiber cable problem?!? can't do the
rebate while the report still open...

im curious how come u can get such a speed......u dling chinese series ?

if i try to dl torrent using xunlei without vpn....it wont start dl at all

i don't use any vpn service yet...i only dl those chinese seed cuz i experienced mininova seed is dead for me but chinese seed is the best for me. if tmnuts didn't capped my speed, i think it will reach max.

o i see...coz alot ppl say xunlei can reach max speed if dl chinese series.....especially the one on their site.....as for other file....its very hard for me to dl without vpn

tried xunlei and it's really fast. But it makes surfing impossible on the other hand.

i also have this problem... My Linksys WAG200G modem will hang and have to restart don't know why. My XL version is 5.8.6.600, have you found the cure already?

I've all the while been suffering under BC/Azureus/Utorrent usage, only getting very slow speed.
I've just downloaded AYU's no-ads Xunlei ver 5, and so far, I do see some speed increase. But, I can't see any chinese characters displayed correctly on Xunlei's interface, only get a whole bunch of "?????".

Can someone let me know how to see the characters properly on Xunlei? I'm on Vista Basic.

I so far had no problems seeing chinese characters on Firefox, and other misc programs running on my pc...

HeHeHunter, i just went to ur blog, but can u recommend which version is the best?? i tried the latest version (V5.7.9.472), download speed is suck.. now i using v5.7.4.401 & speed is also suck but at least better than the latest version?? does that means oldest version is the best??

my tmnut screamyx is 512kbps=64 kBps Max..

anybody using AVG + XunLei? AVG detect XunLei as virus and removed...dxxx it...waiting for new official release hopefully can solve this issue

depends what you are downloading actually.. my 5.8.6.6 no ads work perfectly fine.. max speed can be achieved sometimes.. mostly china torrent and NEW international torrent

I am using AVG and Xunlei, so far as long as I can get a good port and dling Chinese stuff, I get average speed (depends on seed), no sign of AVG blocking Xunlei.

Another myth about Xunlei would upload your file even though you did not give it the permission is not real, because lately I am intended to seed a very rare file, and I found that my peers are not getting anything from me at all, weird!

Lately my line has been real bad, keep getting 60.53.XXX ip, it s@ck to the max! Can't even watch Youtube even though I have stop all dling. I don't think calling TMnut would solve the problem, so might as well keep the stamina to do something else.

open those files, select those files and start downloading,

the task wont start at all! Yes officially it's STARTED.

But the speed is 3.16KB/sec-9.25KB/sec

most of the time it dosent move at all..

1 - in theory, having seeders that little doesnt mean squat. so u could be in que or probably 1-2 only uploading to you using their free upload slots available.
2 - in theory, having that many seeders doesnt mean they all have high bandwidth. 3/4 of em could be on 56k modems for all u know.
3 - in theory, that amount of seeder and leechers are pathetic ! and so is it in reality
4 - in theory, most people practise bandwidth shaping/ throttling so u're in some rut there.
5 - in reality, 10kb/s is considered damn good coz u're on unlimited streamyx i presume.
6 - in reality, if u need to test how high your speeds can be achieved using xunlei, use a dattebayo torrent or something similar. where you have at least >20k seeds and >20k downloaders. then only u determine from there. others would be like heroes tv series or blah blah blah. not allowed piracy discussion here else my @ss gets on fire.

prasys - if u're looking at this, i'm just giving examples to monitor speeds. not encouraging piracy yah !

that amount of seed and leecher is too little i would say..

chinese torrent do go faster than international torrent..
