I see zul "re"-qualified.  He thought he was qualified already last weekend (no. 70), but his name wasn't on the list.  But he managed to qualify again  smile.gif

could be a problem leh....... he's not suppose to be playing if he is at 70. it's his responsibility to check his status

he consulted with the regional officer already (sinclair)? his name wasnt on the invitation list, so he had to play yesterday, just in case he couldnt clear things up.

It's all about improving your chances of making it. Of course if you win in KL it will be a greater achievement since there is a wider field and you can feel more pride. But at the end of the day, the one who got the invite will be happier than the person who bounced out of top 4 after a long day and got nothing to show for it except 6 boosters. Oh, and some pride of course. So it really depends on what you want at the end of the day, no?

Does Mun Yip know the story of what's been happenning here in KL? I wonder if this is the same high profile player... I remember once he went to Ipoh and got bounced out of the Top 8 in the last round smile.gif This same character is the one that was on that massive email whack the other day hahaha...

Michael's got the list... you can ask him... but I'd be damn surprised if your name wasn't on the list for the last 5 years, or for the next 5 years...

Nope, there's never been grinders before... don't think they'll start.

I think in Penang, the way to climb up (and thus qualify through rankings) must be through regular drafts since they draft quite often (I hear). I don't think there's an active Constructed scene up north. It's not like Klang Valley where there are quite a number of Constructed players...

And a great big AMEN to that! Ain't that the truth! biggrin.gif

Aiya, it's not like everyone will actually travel since many MtG players are lazy to travel far.

Hari is the master of choosing the shortest and easiest path! I doubt anyone would actually feel embarrassed for not qualifying in Ipoh unless they are a 'pro' as mentioned by Mun Yip laugh.gif

Broken ambitions is worse than avoiding an easier opportunity coz scared to be embarrassed!

hehe not the shortest and easiest path. Im just a master of choosing all paths. Ofc when given any 2 choice , common sense prevails. Unlike mike , i dont care who turns up at kl. coz i have nothing 2 earn anyway. haha. The focus is only one. Playing magic tongue.gif
