I'm using their 2.4 mpbs connection (still under trial period), in Subang Jaya USJ area. The service is good, only took a couple of hours to activate my account. The speed is rather satisfying and stable, so far everything's good but it's still too early to tell (I remember being this much happy when I first subscribed to Maxis broadband, well you guys can guess how it turned out a few months after). I don't know how it's going to be like in a few months from now but be it for worse or good I'm going to terminate Maxis (and finally cross "terminate maxis broadband" off my list of things to do before I die) and continue subscribed to P1 wimax.

QUOTE(caaron @ Sep 14 2008, 10:56 PM) Yes, you can share the internet connection from p1w1max with a normal router. Plug a RJ45/broadband cable from P1W1MAX modem into the WAN socket on your router. Then from there another line from router to your PC/Laptop or you can use wireless |

QUOTE(tartputat @ Sep 14 2008, 07:31 AM) where u got that news..in website not mention any... There's many problems that i report to:Added on September 14, 2008, 9:34 am mind to share wat is ur problem and the direct number?? really want to know about ur feedback as i didnt try it yet.. 1) Been notified approval of trial account and will send the modem over but after 3 weeks still haven't received any modem althought have few call in between from P1 to confim my details. 2) After received the modem, I did complain about the upload speed cause sometime the upload speed is only about 40-50kbps. 3) Low connection speed for certain period of time, for example, 6 - 8.30PM within setapak area. 4) Always DC after 1 or 2 hours when playing online gaming on last week. 5) High ping when playing online game on last week. 6) Unable to online when they having scheduled maintanence suppose only minor interruption. 7) When BT, unable to get full speed of my trial package speed. 8) and etc. Added on September 15, 2008, 9:11 am QUOTE(p4n6 @ Sep 13 2008, 10:20 AM) Well, honestly, it's not very possible to use up to 20GB without doing torrent and p2p download. I guess online video streaming or sniff and download HTTP of online streaming should also able to use up 20GB.Try email spam to Streamyx and see what happens. As normally I do download through the link from online video streaming. This post has been edited by raffless: Sep 15 2008, 09:11 AM |
