thats pretty low max vcore hmm.gif AFAIK s939 generation procs needed volts. My old manchester 3800+ needed 1.45v to reach 2.7ghz. Toledo core should be similar I guess, but yours surely better. Why havent tried going for orthos stability yet? Sigh.....FX-60, used to be my dream proc once upon a time.

u know what dude
orthos and prime failed
sekejap je
tapi weird thing is, super PI i tested two simultaneously 32m, both worked fine after almost 40mins
and i played lost planet at max for 3 hours nothing happened
why eh?

QUOTE(AMDAthlon @ May 17 2008, 11:52 AM)
Haha if it cannot be your dream proc.Wait AMD Phenom FX then tongue.gif

Well imo nothing beats actual real-world experience, so if the games and other apps work fine, forget prime and orthos smile.gif. They aren't really perfect programs.

Wait....another thought, do you run other tasks while orthos or priming? It sometimes causes the program to show errors.

sometimes i get prime stable, but not orthos. sometimes super PI stable but not prime stable and the list goes on. as long as i get one stress software stable i wouldnt mind if others fail as long as no bsod, sudden hang, and etc. icon_rolleyes.gif

Which test do you use? Small FFT or Blend? Hmm.....since orthos and prime dont work, why not try using the stress test built into Everest software? OH yea.....and try running hyperpi dual superpi test. I have a feeling both the cores are not stable at full load. A friend had a similar problem with toledo 4800+ lastime.

Better have VERY good air cooling for that. TDP of FX-60 is 110W, not like AM2 procs which are mostly 65W tongue.gif

look at the pics
is the vcore ok?
i mean Hyper PI is ok but couldn't take the pics yet
will do it again when i tido whistling.gif

Nice temps, but try running prime for at least 1 hour+. If it doesnt fail in less than 5 mins, then it might fail at 30-40 mins, or the next fail point i usually encounter is 2 hours.

Yah bro......but 3.0ghz on X2 is good whether new or old proc rclxms.gif
