 ASB loan, worth to get it???

Thank you for the input.

Anyone know what's the advantage making ASB loan directly compared to personal loan for ASB?

Example; RM 200k ASB loan vs. RM 200k personal loan for ASB.

Hi, i plan to make asb loan this december. may i know is the interest same with all bank ? which bank the best to make asb loan ? planning for 70k loan, its not much but this is all i can for now blush.gif .

maybank, cimb, rhb and ambank will consider asb dividend as an income.. but to make it safe, at least 2yrs servicing asb loan.

The interest is vary from one bank to another. You may survey but during my time about 2 and half years ago, Maybank Islamic offered me the best.

The interest rate or profit in Islamic is based on BLR minus a few percent. In my case, -1.65 if I am not mistaken.

one reason I know of is some issues when applying for housing loans other than those bank offering ASB loans..

I double check this issue with the Maybank staff, she said it shouldn't be a problem as they will consider the annual dividen as income.

They know that the annual dividen itself able to sustain the monthly loan payment.

Maybank, CIMB, RHB & AmBank consider ASB dividend as Income. Others bank I'm not sure if they do that hmm.gif
