Sifus,
I have an ASB loan since last year of RM45k and already gotten the dividend. let say if i wanted to maximise the ROI, should i get another RM50k loan and pay the loan using the dividend from the previous asb return or just let the dividend compounded in my ASB? I am targeting to cancel the loans in 2/3 years time. |

QUOTE(adamhzm90 @ Apr 19 2018, 10:31 AM) Sifus, Yes better go for max out the opm. What u want to do right now is call as hybrid technique. U will use the 1st loan dividend to cover for the 2nd loan installment. U just need to commit the 1st loan installment. The 2nd loan asb will be compounding the dividend hence u will get more than just compounding from your 45k. This if u terminate after 3 years. If u hold longer your asbf you will get more because your compounding and principal value will be much bigger. Btw, will there be any difference if i let go my existing loan. The current rate is 5.25%. I want to reapply for 5% promos |

QUOTE(mt24 @ Apr 22 2018, 10:05 AM) U are not considering takaful which some bank put that as requirement to take. My calculation always without takaful in it because at cimb takaful is optional. Btw, will there be any difference if i let go my existing loan. The current rate is 5.25%. I want to reapply for 5% promos But I still can calculate the potential return for those who apply asbf with takaful if they provide the details of their loan. 100k 5.25% - 552.20, 5% - 536.82 (15.38) 200k 5.25% - 1104.41, 5% - 1073.64 (30.77) Thats the difference 5.25 and 5%. |
