Everyone keep on mentioning Maybank Cherry VISA Debit because the card has cherry design on it.

Well I have tried with Maybankard Visa Debit too...and its not working (same with Standard Chartered Bank Mastercard Debit)...
Do i need to do the Maybankard Secure Online Shopping Registerion at Utilities Option in Maybank2u website? What is it actually?

yes..u need to register that 1 first before u can use it online

thanks guys...I have finally linked my paypal account to my Maybank visa debit..
now im waiting for the 4 digit paypal code, it say need 2-3 days...where can i find it? in my email? i found that my Maybank account does not have my email...probably the bank officer didnt help me to fill it, and i cannot add it online...

no...u need to find tat code in ur debit card history there

oh...i just checked at the debit card history and there is nothing there...so i need to wait 2-3 days more?

Delete cookies, history & other temp internet files before try again. It doesn't work on IE but it works on firefox for me.

thanks lemeow...i done the registration for secure online shopping already.. linked my paypal with the visa debit already and now waiting for the 4 digit paypal code...
just wonder if i need to wait 2-3 days like paypal told me...or i can get the 4 digit paypal code immediately? in debit card history?

according to one forumer here, she got it after approx 24 hrs. Rule of thumb is, if u still don't see on the website after 3 working days, contact the Bank.

i have got the 4 digit paypal got and successfully link n confirm my visa debit

I am using maybankard and its third day already and im not receiving my money in my maybank account yet...here is the status in my paypal...the "Payment status" is completed...

I just registered my Paypal account today. I have some questions here:

1. I'm not verified yet as I don't have a credit card and I have zero balance in PP. Mine is personal account. If I were to buy funds from LYN forumers, boleh ke tak?
2. Once I have the funds in PP, can I use it to buy stuff eventhough I'm not verified with credit card?

1. I'm not sure about this though but I think there will be a certain amount of limit that can be done per transaction. Let say, not more than $50 or something. I think you can buy the funds but when you want to make payment/send funds to seller, you will be stuck with limited transaction. Besides, if you're buying things from overseas, I think the overseas seller prefer verified PP.

2. I think you should verified your paypal since if you want to do any transaction, paypal will limit some of the transaction (eg, certain amount that can be send & received). If you don't have CC, you can always try VCC. Or apply for any debit card as well.

with my maybank debit card but it says i need a 4code pin
that is on the statment

where do i get the debit card statment?
does maybank post it to my house?
do i check online? (when i chack online it says i dont have statment because im a book holder)

but i believe there are some issues withdrawing with Maybank Visa Debit. Correct me if i am wrong.

hi. are most of the merchant accept paypal method for the transaction. how we know whether they can paypal...

You will see Paypal logo if they do accept payment via Paypal.
