HI, I played the piano many years ago for fun and would like to pick it up again, however $$ seems to be the constrain so I opted to buy a kayboard first to get my fingers going, its a tie between Casio CTK 2000 and Yamaha PSR E213 for the price below Rm700, any advice on which is better?

um does anyone know how to play the pianica/melodica?

I am very headache thinking of learning keyboard or violin. sigh..

a violin and a piano make completely different sounds. so is the style of playing. depends which music you'd prefer to make, and how u intend to make it

or u could just go for a keyboard and play violin synths!

i would like to play pop songs.. but buying a keyboard is out of my budget >.<

ok put it this way - if you willing to spend *a lot* of effort and time to learn something, go for violin. if you want to learn something you can play for fun, go for the keyboard.

wouldn't say you can't go advance for keyboard, just that you won't enjoy much of playing violin even until you're around grade 5.

how much is the cheapest keyboard?

i got mine for 600...u can buy 2nd in garage sales for 400.

but now i'm upgrading myself to digital piano..

btw...i'm learning violin at the same time too...

May I know is there any shop that sells second hand digital pianos and what is the price range for a second hand Yamaha P60, P70 and Casio CDP100 and PX100. Thanks.
