I agree that the usage of dark tint should not be limited to just VIPs. Are their lives more valuable than ours? As it is, robbers are targeting single women. If a car is tinted, it makes it harder for the robber to see that the woman is alone, no? It also means that people with flash DVD players, meters, etc in their cars will have it good, no?

With great power comes great responsibility and much greater burden, so i'd say yesh, VIP do deserve it more than we do althou that is very QUESTIONABLE to be applied on our VIP so dont get me wrong tharr.

And its normal for people to go wry, so abuse is of a great concern here.
There is always a "what if" so its highly subjective.

anyone install HID to the foglamp position still kena saman? i plan to install to bottom position, that i think no affect in front car, right?

if vip tint is allowed for everyone...then next time robber will be kidnapper..becos they kidnap some1 in car and nobody know what happen in there~

they ONLY MENTION on main head lights u arent allowed to put HID.

fog lamps n such isnt restricted.

Maybe true, but if that happens, it is because OUR own choice (to put vip tint). The question here is why there are difference between the value of life/safety of VIP and peple like me? If I'm being kidnaped in my own car because of dark tint, then its fine with me. Its my own choice.

True. They a VERY IMPORTANT, but does that makes our unimportant person life cheap? About that own choice matter, let me put it this way. I think that using dark tint (but not until it u cannot see where you drive lar ) is one of safety method to ensure people don't stalk your car, and they will not know if you are driving alone. But if they manage to kidnapped you, that what to do. Shit happens. But atleast I've already take the precaution step (tint).

I also agrees that there are disadvantage of using dark tint (like one forummer mention), but I also think that it also has it advantage is safety, if not, why the VIP use them right?

Maybe we shouldn't put curtain on our window house to ensure outside people can see if we are being rob also.

Haha.. couldn't think of other suitable metaphor. But I think its quite ok actually. Let say you have a house with high fence so no one could peek or get in your house. But if someone still manage to break in then... because no one outside would know what happen. Its a double-edge sword like those tinted. And I also think we should be safe in our own car, just like in our house.

the kidnap case is not u being kidnap in ur own car which is vip tint...i mean those kidnapper go tint their car with dark tint aka vip tint..then when they kidnap or do illegal activity will be easier..somemore when road bloack, police want to check inside ur car..they can easily carry out their duty. if not..if they ask to wind down the window..then suddenly the robbery pull out gun and shoot them le..
