The problem is they don't have any idea what HID is. They know lampu putih only. If they issue you summon, they'll state "Mengubahsuai lampu hadapan (lampu putih)". What can you say?

err so if we using hid but yellow light, can lepas meh?

As stated in TSP blog, the problem is not 'the HID', but 'the retrofitting'. Make me more confuse..

This one, very hard to clarify. Some officers can see your light is in white from far, therefore they stop you. Depends on their mood.

good thing JPJ did this, some fxck up driver just like to use HID and doesn't know this will disturb other drivers and walkers. They should have shove the HID bulb in their axx hole.
