Yesterday was downloading BT while I ran the test, today's speed was this..

Mine is P1 Networks, Wifi I believe, not WiMax.. And I'm totally satisfied with the speed I'm getting, at a price of RM77, Streamyx is total rubbish I would say..

I have this Ruckus modem that says 'WiFi perfected' So I assume it's WiFi gua.. Haha..

It's fast no doubt, and I'm loving the speed.. But really availability is quite limited..

But I'm seeing even faster speeds out there, and no idea how fast we can be in M'sia, I initially posted here coz I wanted to get Maxis Broadband for my home in Cheras, Venice Hill..

Is any Maxis Wireless users around that area? How's the speed if I may know?

Thanks in advance ya.. ^^

Hello, i m maxis user at PJ SS2 area, just wanna know anyone of you guys live nearby facing often disconnection and the RSSI on the modem is blinking? I just want to identify whether the problem is from my computer setting or Maxis.

Calling the customer service support, they said is 3G network problem, and ask me to change to EDGE or GSM, omg.... Also the same excuse and lousy solution....

Help Pls.... sad.gif

I've just noticed something funny with the zte mf600 modem. It looks like the "Total Data Recv" is stuck at "2.14 GB" even though I've downloaded stuff way way way way more than 2 GB laugh.gif

After I restart, I get the same previous speed which is about 40 kBps - 70 kbps. I'm actually getting more than what I paid for...

Btw, I don't torrent. I download everything via HTTP direct connection and SSH Tunneling. Also, I don't chat via MSN... instead I use Yahoo Messenger.

Yes , you do get a Public IP Address , however they block external connections. Meaning that you can host anything

So if you want to bypass file sharing service limit (i.e rapidshare) then its possible !
