I confirm with Maxis SC yesterday and they already change back their FUP, so no more block after quota, just slow down to 128kbps. If you wan back the full speed, purchase extra quota.

Should count yourself lucky not to be capped yet.

funny maxis, if like that every1 can just subscribe to 1.5GB @ RM48.
how about thier other package? No 1 will pay for 6GB, RM98.

Maybe maxis will monitor your usage for first few months then only cap your speed?

something is strange with my quota lor,
2 days ago i signed up for this maxis promo package,
after that i've been using the internet quite heavily,but everytime i go check the data usage in my account,



WTH, i used up 10 mb only??

this morning checked, still 10 mb,

i scared something wrong lor,not accurate one so i called maxis just now
and the girl told me viewing data usage via account portal is the most accurate one,
no mistake one,i was like, sure bo?

here's my speedtest result,just realised my area is not in KL

Maxis Broadband speed in my area for the time being was really OK...
I donno how to describe it, whether it fast or not...
but for me, it's just average maybe since my area got HSDPA line.... but I feel really satisfied with their service now..
I'm just subscribed to Bundled Package that is free for the first 2 months...
third months will start to pay RM48 monthly....

the speed of the broadband is depend on the data coverage is it?

the speed of all wireless broadband depends on your location.
example: some area maxis is better, some better celcom is better, etc.

speed depends on type of ur modem,area coverage,simultaneous user at the same time,distance from tower communication...
