It's confirmed removed. The Maxis CS called me to double confirm.

That good for you....because they remove fup for you.....Otherwise nor for me to do it.....

Dream on. They would never remove the FUP. Otherwise their network will just collapse the next day!...

Too often getting promises from Maxis that I believe they are becoming desperate for the subscriber numbers...

I've been browsing through the forums - wonder if anyone is experiencing similar problems with me?


B932 Wireless Modem --> 4-Port Switch --> PC(s) (One Vista 64, One Windows XP)
E220 USB Modem --> Laptop (Vista 32)

The Problem: It disconnects from the network every 1 1/2 - 2 hours interval. (Doesnt happen with other Wireless services)
Do note, I have both PCs on at the same time... and they both disconnect together.
Diagram: PC ----- Network --x-- Internet

Speed: Good overall around my area - PJ (near Amcorp Mall).

My usage: Online gaming, browsing, email. I hardly hit 1GB per month.

they have solved my connection issue at kepong area
very good service in fact they have provided
they went to my house and replace the new ZTE modem for me since the old ZTE medem already with me more than 2 years
reason is the antenna got problem
and the server they allocate for me is far away
now they try to solve the server problem for me
tq very much

My problem has been resolved. Changed the advance settings within the B932 modem.
Now I have good connection and speed - HDSPA 5 bar signal in my area.

Online gaming has been smooth as well.

guys.. I'm maxis wireless user as well...
got any good modem to recommend?

You can get Huawei E220 for RM200. Or add a bit more to get ZTE MF622.

which is better? E220 or MF622?

Both give the same performance. But if you are willing to pay a slightly higher price then MF622 is smaller in size n also produce less heat after long hours of usage.
E220 cost cheaper.
