same prob at my resident area 3 month back. only gprs/edge is connectible fo about 2 week. after that, speed is better & more stable than b4.

so i guess maxis is doing maintenance job at ur area.. but imho, if maxis gonna do something that cause interruption in their service, they should notify the affected customers 1st..

i wanna know is it true maxis doin service upgrade in most of the states in malaysia?cuz when i go to their map site most malaysia penisular have a red mark mean service upgrade.

i just did it 

result is:
- cancel existing zte modem account
- penalty charge rm200 (but i ask for waiver and complaint gao gao    )
- pay another rm100 to open a new account with new black b932 modem

happy surfing with better signal modem

power mobile rm78? u mean the maxis broadband package that comes with only the sim card is it? the data capped at 2gb though. For lite user its fine lah i think. for heavy downloaders. definetely a no-no. since the fup is being implemented strictly, i found out that 2gb cap is too little. 

not only maxis broadband but celcom also the same. Digi on the other hand will charge you for the extra usage.

Do you know when will I get back my rm 100 registration fee if i were to return them tomorrow?

adeh...im still good in maxis even near 12 month use maxis... avg 6.1Mbps

With normal web browsing daily will easily used up 1.5GB.  At least they are now being honest by showing us the bandwidth limit. Last time they will just hide that in their term and condition.

So far my speed, stability,latency all consider good. Still on second week trying. My area is Sri Petaling landed.

Zomg i went to thailand yesterday and asked them about their internet speed and they told me the minimum speed is 3mbps and max speed is 16mbps from as low as 599(batt) about rm60. why can't m'sia upgrade the internet speed?

weh , is digi bb faster then maxis? if digi also have the same characteristic as maxis which fast , affordable , i will switch . but if it 100 times better then maxis , but still god quota block i wont even ask about it , and ofcz nvr switch to it.

i saw it stated there HSPDA - Special promo 3 GB package and HSPDA - Special Promo Modem Charge
why there were stated that Modem Charge there but my subscription is free modem??
anyone who subcribe same promotion as mine (3G/rm68) can clarify on this??

yeah, its correct, adslgourou, no 7days guarantee but actually upfront payment rm150 will consider as rebate for 5 month
so in first 5months , u will get rebate rm 30, let say u subscribe 1.5G/rm48, for first 5month, u just pay rm18 coz rm 30 oledi deduct from upfront payment.
but let say u terminate it in first 5 month, u will get the modem but the upfront payment will totally consider as burn.
after first 5 month, i mean for 6th month, u will need to pay rm48/1.5GB coz no more rebate after 5month
